When Emma got the call from David, telling her she needed to get to the docks now, she knew something was wrong.

While Emma and Elsa had gone to the woods to fend off the Ice Queen's snowman army, David, Killian, Regina, Gold and Robin had gone to confront her in person. Elsa and Emma had recently become good friends, and their magic was quite powerful when combined.

"He didn't really explain, he just said that needed more help," Emma informed Elsa who nodded and followed Emma.

"I'm sorry about this," Elsa sighed.

"What do you mean?" Emma wondered.

"If I had just taken the offer the Ice queen offered me, we wouldn't be here right now. Your family wouldn't be in danger," Elsa replied sadly.

Emma stopped and looked at Elsa for a moment before smiling thoughtfully, "You decide what to do with you life, not her. And anyway, I think at this point, my family's pretty used to being in danger," she laughed.

"You really love them, don't you?" Elsa asked.

"Yeah. I do. I mean, I have a son, a brother, parents... The family I never though I'd ever get," Emma said.

"Don't forget an insanely handsome, badass pirate boyfriend who will do anything to protect you," Elsa added.

"Yeah... I've got my pirate too, don't I?" Emma blushed.

Elsa laughed and they continued to trek through the forest, but after about five minutes, when they were halfway to the docks, the two heard a twig snap, snow crunching, and they both felt the faint buzz of dark magic.

"Hello?" Emma called, "Who are you, and what do you want?!?" She demanded.

From behind them, a white-haired woman in a light pink and white dress stepped out from behind a tree.

"Good afternoon, ladies. Just stopping by to get a few things done," she smiled evilly.

"Adelaide," Elsa said angrily, with a hint of panic in her voice, "what are you doing here?" She demanded.

Adelaide was the Ice Queen. She claimed to have given Elsa her 'gift' which in all honesty, she hated. She had wanted Elsa to join her in using her powers for evil, which Elsa obviously declined, angering the Queen.

"I do believe I just told you. But if clarification is needed, then I supposed I could show you, my dear," Adelaide said, jutting her hands out in Emma's direction, striking her with a blast of icy magic.

Emma cried out in pain and fell to the ground.

"Emma!" Elsa cried, rushing to her friend's side.

"Ahh, that should get rid of the threat the saviour poses, now shouldn't it, Elsa? You've seen what this spell does to people. You used it on you sister, Anna. But have you thought of how powerful it is, and how quickly it can take effect when used purposely, child?" Adelaide asked with a smirk, before disappearing in a cloud of snow.

"Emma, are you okay?!?" She asked worriedly.

Emma nodded, "Just... Cold..." She mumbled.

Elsa shook her head. We need to get you someplace warm... She froze your heart, Emma, you're dying,"

Emma rolled her eyes. "Elsa, really, I'm fine," she assured Elsa, standing up with a slight struggle.

Elsa shook her head, but the two made their way back to the docks to find the others. When the docks were in view, Elsa got worried.

"Emma, your hair... It's... It's turning white... Emma, we need to get you inside! Please! This happened to my sister!" She exclaimed.

Emma shook her head, and continued towards the group of people at the docks, to which Elsa sighed at and followed.

David explained that Adelaide had disappeared shortly after he'd called Emma, and she'd frozen everyone's phones so that she could sneak up on Emma and Elsa.

He asked about Emma's hair worriedly. Elsa started to explain. Killian had noticed it right away, and was stroking it with a worried expression. "Love, you're quite cold," he said, taking off his new, modern leather jacket and wrapping it around her, before putting his arms around her waist in an effort to warm her.

"I'm fine," she lied, because she wasn't okay, Killian was right. She was cold, she didn't feel right, and clearly, her hair was turning white, which obviously wasn't a good sign.

Suddenly, Emma collapsed in Killian's arms. "Emma!!!" David, Elsa and Killian called. She quickly regained consciousness and assured everyone that she was okay. Regina, Rumple and Robin had come over to help, but she shook her head when Killian tried to lift her up to her feet.

"What do we do?!?" David and Killian said in worried unison.

"An act of true love is what broke this curse on my sister," Elsa's voice was shaky with concern for her friend.

Emma blinked. An idea came to mind. It was ridiculous, but she was going to try it anyway.

Emma grabbed the front of Killian's shirt, pulling his lips to her own. She could feel the gust of wind and the heat return to her body. She looked up at Killian, whose forehead was rested on her's. His blue eyes held amusement, joy, hopefulness and above all else, love. True love.

"Emma... You..." He whispered.

She laughed and hugged him as he helped her up. "The only one who saves me is me," she smiled.

Elsa, Regina and Robin smiled at the sweet moment. Even Rumple, who was trying to look bored and uninterested wore the slightest smirk.

David on the other hand, stood there, mouth agape and struggled to speak. When he did, all that came out was, "True... True Love,"

Emma giggled, still keeping Killian in a close caress. She nodded, looking into his eyes, the two of them tearing up. Killian was the first to say it then. "I love you," he whispered into her ear, so that only she could hear.

In return, she kissed him before whispering, "I love you too," back, not caring that her father was standing right beside her, let alone the (not-so) Evil Queen, Robin Hood, Rumplestiltskin, and Elsa.

"Okay, are you two done? Because that Ice obsessed psychopath is still out there and we need to get rid of her. You can stare at each other and celebrate that you're true love later, okay?" Regina spoke to them as if they were a couple of eight-year-olds.

Emma laughed and took Killian's hand. "Let's go kill that witch," she said, kissing Killian on the cheek the two of them leading.
