Goldilocks was waiting patiently for Dr Hopper to arrive. She was waiting outside Granny's diner, her back leaning against the gate as she waited. Perdita was prancing around her feet, barking happily at any car that drove past.

"I will never get used to them," Goldilocks sighed as a red car drove past.

She had been in Storybrooke for about three days, and she still hadn't found the person she was looking for. The night before, she had wandered around Storybrooke until a few minutes before midnight, but she hadn't found him.

However she did meet a lovely man, called David Nolan, and he told her he was also sheriff of Storybrooke, along side of Emma. He and Goldilocks talked for a few minutes, and she had also found out he was Emma Swan's father.

David had asked her why she was out so late, so she had lied, and told him she had been looking for Perdita, before telling him she had to go, and hurriedly leaving without looking too suspicious.

Just then Dr Hopper walked up to her, Pongo on a red leash, to match the dog's collar. He also carried a light blue one in his free hand.

"Hello Goldilocks," Dr Hopper smiled, and Goldilocks smiled back and walked over to him. "Or would you rather be called Georgia?" Dr Hopper asked seriously.

Goldilocks shrugged. "Goldilocks is fine. I was never really too keen on the name Georgia."

Dr Hopper smiled, and handed her the blue leash. "This is for Perdita."

Goldilocks took it off him. "Wow, thank you!" Goldilocks bent down and attached the leash to Perdita's collar.

"Ready to go?" Dr Hopper asked.

Goldilocks stood up. "Sure," she smiled.

Dr Hopper began to walk with Pongo, and Goldilocks followed with Perdita. He took them to the beach, where they let the dogs off the leash so they could run around. Perdita immediately ran off down the sand to the sea, and Pongo followed her after a few moments of hesitation.

Dr Hopper and Goldilocks laughed as they watched the dogs playing in the sea, Perdita was more lively and bouncy then Pongo, and he was desperately struggling to keep up.

"Is Perdita always that excited and energetic?" Dr Hopper asked.

Goldilocks grinned, not taking her eyes off the two dogs. "Indeed she is."

Meanwhile on the other side of Storybrooke David Nolan, the sheriff Goldilocks had meet previously, opened the door of his apartment and entered.

David had fairly dark blonde hair, with a slight stubbled beard. He wore blue jeans, and that day he was wearing a dark blue and white checkered shirt, with the top button undone.

Suddenly his wife's head popped up from behind the counter in their tiny kitchen. "Hi honey!" His wife, Mary Margaret grinned.

Mary Margret, the former Snow White, had skin as white as snow; hair as black as ebony, cut into a pixie cut; and was wearing a dark pink top and light blue jeans. She had just reached under the counter to find a whisk from the bottom draw.

"Hello love." David walked over to Mary Margaret, kissed her cheek and wrapped his arms around her. He looked over to their little living room, so see their two year old son Neal (a very tiny version of David), building a tower with huge colourful bricks.

"How's Neal been getting along?" David asked his wife.

"He's absolutely lovely. Are you okay?" Mary Margaret put the whisk on the counter and turned the page of the cook book.

"Yes thanks. What are you making?" David asked, eyeing the blue bowl with white mixture inside.

"It's a cake," Mary Margaret said. "It's a new recipe Granny made. She asked me to make it, and test it to make sure it works for the diner." Mary Margaret sighed. "But this is the most strangest recipe I have ever seen!"

"How can cake be strange?" David asked.

"Read this." Mary Margaret flipped the page and pointed to one paragraph. She read out loud. "Wrap in foil and store for two days before decorating... Two days!? Why do you have to wait two days!?" Mary Margaret picked up the whisk and began to beat the mixture.

David shrugged, and hugged his wife from behind, resting his chin on the top of Mary Margaret's head. "Snow, can I ask you a question?"

"Yes dear, you can ask me anything."

"Did you know someone called Goldilocks in The Enchanted Forest?"

Mary Margaret stopped whisking, and narrowed her eyebrows as the concentrated with thought. "No, I don't think so. Why?"

"Because last night, it was almost midnight, and I met her. She was looking for her dog, Perdita. But she was fairly secretive and left in a hurry. Plus I have never seen her around Storybrooke before."

"I have no idea. Does Emma know?" Mary Margaret asked.

"Emma said there was a strange little girl in Storybrooke yesterday. Apparently the girl knew Regina."

"Regina?" Mary Margaret asked, turning around. "Goldilocks knows Regina?"

"That's what it seems," David replied. "I'm just curious about the age difference, I think Goldilocks is about fifteen, and the way Emma spoke about them, it sounded like Regina and Goldilocks had known each other for a very long time."

"Not many people have had a good past with Regina. Maybe we should speak to Emma about this?" Mary Margaret suggested.

"Or better yet, Regina," David replied. "We need to find out how Regina and Goldilocks know each other, and why Goldilocks has suddenly appeared in Storybrooke..."
