Once Upon A Time: Goldilocks comes to Storybrooke

Chapter 25

Goldilocks was sat in Granny's Diner, with Regina, Emma, David, Mary Margaret, Henry, Granny, Ruby, Belle, Captain Hook, and even Mr Gold! Together that told the story of what happened in Neverland.

"Wait, so after I went to Neverland you grew up and became the Evil Queen?" She pointed to Regina.

Regina nodded.

"So it wasn't actually Cora who went to Neverland, it was you?" Goldilocks questioned her friend.

Regina nodded again. "I'm very sorry."

They continued their story.

"Wait! So Henry was the trust believer?" Goldilocks asked. "Peter wanted to take your heart?"

Henry shrugged. "Yeah. I was kidnapped and taken to Neverland."

"I remember Peter telling me about a new Lost Boy. That must have been you!!"

They carried on with their story.

"And then Peter used magic to cause him and Henry swap bodies," David explained.

"So Peter was in Henry's body, and Henry was in Peter's body," Belle added.

"And he came to Storybrooke to make it the new Neverland," Mary Margaret commented.

"We're sorry Goldilocks," Emma said. "But it was either he died, or everyone else in Storybrooke. We didn't want to risk everyone else's life."

Goldilocks fell silent, and nodded, her eyes fixed to the table.

"It was my fault," Mr Gold said, and everyone looked surprised, as he was actually feeling regretful. "The only way for Peter to die was if I died too. I caused my father's death, but I was resurrected later on, I'm very sorry."

"I understand why you did it," Goldilocks looked up. "If only I had gotten here sooner, maybe I could have talked to Peter - "

"But you didn't know Peter was evil," Henry said. "You mustn't blame yourself."

"But when I take the blame - " Mr Gold started.

"Yeah, we know Grandpa," Henry said to Mr Gold.

"Wait," Goldilocks looked confused. "Grandpa? So you're - " she pointed to Mr Gold.

"His grandfather? Yes," Mr Gold nodded.

"And you - " Goldilocks pointed at Belle.

"I'm Mr Golds wife," Belle told her.

"And you're - " Goldilocks pointed to Emma.

"Henry's mom, yes," she butted in.

"So, is Emma? - " Goldilocks pointed to Mr Gold again.

"No, Emma isn't my daughter."

"She's my daughter," David said.

"So - " Goldilocks looked at Mary Margaret.

"I'm David's wife, Emma's mother," Mary Margaret finished.

"And - " Goldilocks pointed to Regina.

"I'm Mary Margaret's stepmother," Regina sighed.

"And I'm Emma's boyfriend," Captain Hook commented, not wanting to be left out.

"And we're not related to them," Ruby and Granny said.

Goldilocks exhaled and leaned back in her seat. "You have a confusing family tree," she said.

"I've been saying the same thing for six years," Emma sighed.

"And that's only the beginning of it," David said. "I had a twin brother, James, and Regina has a half sister, Zelena, and - "

"Thank you, but we don't exactly need a full history lesson, Deaire," Mr Gold said.

Everyone laughed.

"I can't believe I almost dated your great grandfather," Goldilocks said to Henry. "That makes me feel really old. But then I look at Regina and I feel really young!"

"I bet you do," Henry grinned back.

"Who wants another drink?" Granny asked everyone. "On the house!"

"In that case, I'll take two," Captain Hook said, placing his empty wine glass on the table.
