Goldilocks had found her way back to the cottage morning after the bear attack, and found everything out of place and destroyed. But worst of all, she found her mother laying on her she on the floor, her eyes wide open, her lips slightly parted. Anita's head lay in a pool of blood that was still oozing out of the huge cut on her forehead. She also had many smaller cuts on her face and arms. One of her legs were twisted at an odd angle, and her clothes were badly ripped.
Goldilocks could hardly move. She froze as soon as she saw her mother's body on the ground, and looked at it on horror, before eventually breaking down and crying for what seemed like forever.
But Goldilocks forced herself to stop crying after hours of tears, and stood up, wiped away her tears and put on a brave face, for her mother.
She waved her hand and everything in the room began to mend, and then found there way back to there homes on the shelves and the cupboards.
Goldilocks waved her hand again, and her mother slowly raised off the ground and turned onto her back. Goldilocks waved her hand yet again, and Anita's broken leg cracked back into place, and her clothes magically sewed back together, before changing into a beautiful white gown, with golden slippers. The cuts healed, and her eyes closed.
Goldilocks covered her eyes with her hands and took a deep, shaky breath, and then walked outside the back garden, Anita floating behind her, and Goldilocks walked over to the biggest tree and placed her hands over the bark. Goldilocks closed her eyes and forced the tears away as she worked some more magic. Some huge pieces of bark detached itself from the tree and joined together, until they had all connected together to form a giant gleaming coffin.
Anita's body gently flew over to the coffin and placed itself inside, and then the lid closed.
Goldilocks stamped hard on the ground, and a huge hole appeared, just the right side for the coffin. As the coffin lowered itself into the hole Goldilocks found the biggest stone she could find And carried it over to the grave. Goldilocks commanded the soil to bury the coffin whilst she wrote into the stone, using her finger as if it were a pencil.

xxxGoldilocks finished writing on the stone (though her spellings were horrible and the writing was fairly scruffy) and carefully placed it at the head of the grave, before picking some of the flowers and laying them on the grave.
Then she sat at the foot of the grave for the rest of the day, the fact that she was now alone, with no parents, finally washing over her.

One year had passed since the death of Goldilocks's mother. Goldilocks was now nine years old, and would spend her time playing games, usually one where she went around different realms and pretended to save the whole of The Enchanted Forest from destruction and mayhem.
Goldilocks also loved to play with her cousin, called Merida. Merida was three years older then Goldilocks. The two girl's mother's were sisters, and one of the sisters had ran away from home and married a prince, and the other had married the bakers youngest son.
However, Merida had ran away from her palace because she had overheard her mother and father having a conversation about her becoming queen, and Merida didn't want to become queen!! She was only twelve!! Merida had accidentally ran into Goldilocks, and after a lot of discussion and research they discovered that they were actually cousins. Merida moved in with Goldilocks after hearing about Anita's death, and the girls became the best of friends.
