Once Upon A Time: Goldilocks comes to Storybrooke

Chapter 43

Goldilocks and Regina only had to wait about ten minutes before they received a phone call from David, letting them know he and Mary Margaret had found Cruella De Vil, and had locked her up in Storybrooke Sheriff Station Jail for the night, before questioning her the next day and trying to find a way to send her back to the Underworld.

So Mary Margaret, David, Henry, Dr Hopper, Merida, Emma and Hook all went round top Regina's house, to have a little 'party' before they went over to Granny's Diner to have a few drinks with Belle, Mr Gold, Ruby, Leroy, and anyone else who wished to join them!!

Captain Hooks injuries were not that severe, however he did have a fractured leg, so had a huge bandage around his leg and a crutch to help him move. Emma helped him info an armchair before she sat on the arm of the sofa.

"I like Storybrooke," Merida commented. "I mean, it's going to take a little bit of getting used to, but I like it. It's like everyone who lives here is just one, big, happy family."

"One, big, happy family, yeah, no kidding, " Hook commented.

"What!?" Merida asked.

"Nothing," Emma replied. Goldilocks and Henry looked at each other and grinned. What Merida didn't know, was that most of the citizens of Storybrooke were related, and there was a huge, and very confusing family tree.

"Sorry about your leg, Killian," Merida said. "Or Hook, whichever name you go by now."

Captain Hook looked at his leg. "Don't worry about it. We can get Mother Superior to take a look at it tomorrow."

"Who?"

"The Blue Fairy," Mary Margaret answered.

Merida shook her head. "Why do you have different names here? It's confusing!"

Dr Hopper laughed. "Don't worry. You'll get the hang of it. But then again, based on your age, you won't know who half of us are!"

"I know The Blue Fairy though. I met her once," Merida told them. "I asked her to help me find a place where I could stay after I ran away from home. She lead me to Goldilocks's house."

Goldilocks felt her pockets. "I don't have it at the moment, but I do have a list of everyone's Enchanted Forest names, and their Storybrooke names. I could find it, if you want?"

"Good idea," Regina nodded.

"So - when can I go back home?" Merida asked slowly.

"Home?" Goldilocks asked.

"But you just got here," Henry said.

"I know, but before I ran away, I had a family. I lived in DunBroch. I had a mother, father, and three little brothers. I left without an explanation. And if it's been over thirty five years - I'd like to go apologise before it's too late."

Goldilocks looked heartbroken. "But - don't you want to stay here?"

"Besides," Regina said. "I don't think my curse hit DunBroch. Time may still be running there, unlike in The Enchanted Forest, where time froze."

"Not necessarily," Hook said quietly.

Everyone turned to look at him.

"What?" Emma asked.

"Well, you remember after Pan's curse was broken we went back to the Enchanted Forest? Well, during that missing year, I went back to Scotland, after I got my ship back from Blackbeard. It looked exactly the same as it did when I first met Merida, after bringing her to The Enchanted Forest. I think time froze in Scotland, just like it did here."
