"You have got to be kidding me," Goldilocks muttered as she ran after her dog through the streets of Storybrooke.
Where had Perdita got to? Had she found him? Goldilocks's head was filled with questions, that were going to be answered as soon as she found Perdita.
Suddenly she heard a barking, of a dog, and Goldilocks ran, following the sound, until she finally found Perdita.
However, Perdita had found a man, who also had a pet Dalmatian.
The man was fairly tall, with short ginger hair and oval glasses. He was dressed in a back coat, what was unzipped, so you saw a grey suit with a blue tie. He was also wearing grey trousers and black, newly polished shoes. He was crouched down, stroking Perdita.
Goldilocks saw this and froze. The man looked up and saw her. He smiled.
"Hello," he said kindly, standing up. "Is this dog yours?"
"Erm, yes." Goldilocks hurried over and took hold of Perdita's blue collar. "Sorry, Perdita is usually more well behaved than this."
"Ahh, don't worry about it. There's nothing wrong with a quick-night stroll," the man grinned, buy them tilted his head. "I don't think I've seen you before."
"You won't have, I'm new here," Goldilocks said. "Only been here about four weeks," she lied.
The man nodded. "I see, where did you come from?"
Goldilocks paused for a moment, not knowing what to say.
".. I'm sorry," the man said. "It's wrong of me to pry. My name is Doctor Archie Hopper, this is my dog Pongo. What's your name?"
"I'm Georgia Lockwood," Goldilocks said. "And this is Perdita."
"Well, from The Enchanted forest, my name was Jiminy Cricket."
Goldilocks nodded, her heart sinking. This wasn't who she was looking for. "I am- was called Goldilocks," she corrected herself.
"And you say you're new here?" Dr Hopper asked.
"Yes."
"Where are your parents?"
Goldilocks shrugged. "I never knew my father, he died before I was born, and my mother died when I was eight."
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that."
Goldilocks shrugged, trying not to sound upset. "Don't worry about it."
"So.. Where are you currently staying? Or living?"
Goldilocks remembered a place when looking through Storybrooke. "I've been staying at Granny's Bed and Breakfast."
Dr Hopper nodded. "Because if you're not that familiar with Storybrooke yet, I'd more then happy to show you around."
Goldilocks nodded. "Sounds great. Thank you."
"Shall we meet to Granny's Diner at, say, eleven? We can have lunch, and then I'll show you around Storybrooke a little bit? We can walk the dogs at the same time."
Goldilocks nodded politely again, smiling. "Sure. Thanks."
Dr Hopper smiled kindly. "I'll see you there," He said, and Goldilocks smiled back.
"Eleven o'clock. See you then!" Goldilocks let go off Perdita's collar, whistled softly, and Perdita followed her, and they walked down the road, turning the corner to go to Granny's Bed and Breakfast.
"What's an eleven o'clock?" Goldilocks whispered to herself. Perdita barked.
Dr Hopper watched her go, before reaching into his pocket and bringing out a phone. He searched through his contacts until he found the name he was looking for.
"Madame Mayor?" He spoke into the phone. "I just met a little girl. She says she has been living in Storybrooke for only four weeks, at Granny's Bed and Breakfast, but I've never seen her before. She says her name is Georgia Lockwood. I just arranged to meet her at Granny's diner at eleven tomorrow. Do you think you could be there to ask her a few questions? I'm a little suspicious. Maybe bring Sheriff Swan too?"
Madame Mayor was silent on the other line for a moment before speaking. "Yes, of course. We'll be there."
"Okay. Thank you Regina."
"You're welcome. Bye," And Regina Mills, the former Queen of The Enchanted Forest, and Goldilocks's oldest friend, hung up.
