Regina pulled up, and everyone clambered out of the car.

"Merida is meant to be in here!?" Goldilocks asked, raising an eyebrow as she looked at the huge mass of trees in front of her.

"We best get looking then," Emma said, and handed Goldilocks a flashlight.

"What's this?" Goldilocks asked as she repeatedly turned the flashlight over and over in her hand, inspecting every inch.

"Here," Henry flicked the switch. "It's called a flashlight. You - don't do that!" Henry cried, as Goldilocks was about to look directly at the light bulb.

"So it's basically an upgraded candle?" Goldilocks summed it up.

"Yeah, I suppose you could say that," Regina said, turning on her own flashlight.

"So are we splitting up, or staying together as a group, or - " Henry began.

"Either, I don't mind," Emma said as she held out her hand. A ball of light blue light hovered above her hand, and she watched it carefully.

Goldilocks watched for a few moments, before doing the same with her magic. "Wait, how is this going to help us find Merida?" She asked.

Emma looked up, shook her head and the magic disappeared. "It won't. Sorry, I was just practising."

"...oh..." Goldilocks quickly made her magic disappear also.

"Now isn't exactly the best time to be practising beginners magic," Regina told them.

"Beginners!?" Goldilocks laughed. "If I recall correctly, it was me who began to teach you magic."

"And if I recall correctly, I didn't do very well," Regina commented.

"But look at you now!" Goldilocks gestured to her best friend.

"Guys, maybe we should start to look for Merida," Henry butted in.

"Good idea, Henry," Emma looked at Regina. "Split into two's, I'll take Henry and you take Goldilocks? Or would you rather take Henry?" She asked Regina quickly. "Which kid do you want to take with you?"

"Erm, excuse me!? Kid!?" Goldilocks scoffed. "Emma, I'm pretty sure I'm older then you . I was born long before your parents, I've been on Neverland for over thirty five years, and you're calling me a kid!?" Goldilocks turned to Henry. "God, the children these days! Always answering back to their elders!" She rolled her eyes and began to walk away, Perdita following her owner.

Regina, Emma and Henry watched her go. Regina's mouth was hanging open, Emma looked offended, and Henry was doing his best not to laugh.

"If it's alright with you two, I'm going to go with Goldilocks," he told both of his mom's, before running after his girlfriend.

Goldilocks, Perdita and Henry went left, and Emma and Regina went right.

Goldilocks and Henry walked side by side, flashing their torches all around them, looking for a sign of where Merida may be. They let Perdita run on ahead, but made sure to keep get in sight, just in case Cruella decided to show up.

"I'm not too sure my mom will like you after what happened back there," Henry said.

"Which one? Emma?" Goldilocks laughed. "Nah. She had it coming."

Henry shrugged and they continued walking. "What was my mom like as a kid?" He asked Goldilocks.

"I'm afraid I only meet Emma when I got to Storybrooke," Goldilocks replied.
