Once Upon A Time: Goldilocks comes to Storybrooke

Chapter 41

Goldilocks, Henry, Emma, Regina and Perdita ran through the main street of Storybrooke. They could hear cries from the citizens, and smashes of cars and windows.

But they couldn't see the bear.

"Emma!" They heard David's voice.

"Emma! Regina!" Mary Margaret and David ran up to them.

"Yep, ignore us then," Goldilocks muttered, looking at Henry, as David and Mary Margaret both hugged their daughter.

"Grandma, Grandpa," Henry said, and Mary Margaret threw her arms around Henry.

Just then Ruby and Dr Hopper (with Pongo) ran up to them.

"You're okay," Ruby said to them all, as Dr Hopper hugged Goldilocks, and Pongo and Perdita barked happily.

"Well done," Regina said sarcastically.

"Where's Hook?" Emma pulled away from the hug. "Is he okay?"

"He's fine. Mr Gold and Dr Whale are with him. He got hit by the bear, and his leg was bleeding badly."

"Mr Gold!?" Emma asked, surprised. "He went to the hospital with Hook? Don't they hate each other!?"

"Shouldn't we be more concerned about where the bear is then Captain Guy-liner?" Regina commented.

"The bear is around the corner," Ruby explained. "Granny is trying to slow it down."

"On her own!?" Goldilocks asked.

"You'd be surprised with what that woman can do," Henry whispered.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Goldilocks questioned.

"We'll tell you later," Mary Margaret and David replied.

"Doesn't she need help?" Goldilocks asked.

"We're on it," a voice said from behind them.

Everyone turned around, to find the seven dwarves marching bravely towards them, their special pick axes resting on their shoulder.

"No time for whistling boys," Leroy, the former Grumpy, said. "Let's get to work!"

"Wait, they can't hurt the bear!" Goldilocks cried.

"Why not?" Mary Margaret asked.

"Because that bear is Merida! That's my cousin!"

"So - she's like a werewolf, but turns into a bear?" Ruby asked.

"No," Goldilocks shook her head. "She was turned into one by Cruella de Vil."

"Oh, that's why we were looking for her," Dr Hopper said.

"We have to go," Goldilocks said, and she began to run, Emma and Regina running after her.

Henry tried to run with them, but Mary Margaret stopped him. David produced his 'Prince Charming' sword and ran after the women too.

The four heroes reached the corner of the street. Goldilocks tried to peep around it to have a look at Merida, but Regina pulled her back.

"What's the plan?" David asked, swinging his sword.

"Attack Merida to make her fall down and become weak, but we don't kill her. Than we put the heart back into her. Also try not to die," Goldilocks said.

"That sounds like a good plan," Emma nodded.

"Distract her, throw your fire balls of whatever, in order to make her lose focus, just don't actually hit her," Goldilocks told them all.
