Once Upon A Time: Goldilocks comes to Storybrooke

Chapter 29

A few days later Goldilocks jumped off the school bus and Henry, her new boyfriend, followed her. It was Wednesday, and they had just finished school. Goldilocks and Henry were both dressed in the uniform, and Goldilocks had a black skirt and tights on, and she had a purple bag with a long strap strung on one of her shoulders, and her hair was in about eight or nine ringlets.

"Ava is a little bit stressy isn't she?" Goldilocks whispered.

(Goldilocks had gotten one of her mathematics questions wrong, and Ava, the former Gretel, became extremely stressed and stood up, grabbed her pencil and had practically taken over the lesson. Goldilocks would never forget how to calculate speed again!)

"She usually is! Are you going straight home?" Henry asked her as soon as they had taken a few steps away from the bus stop.

"Yeah, I was going to go back home. I'm going to walk Perdita. Maybe I'll meet you at Granny's later?"

Henry smiled. "Sure. I'm off to my mom's now. She should be coming to pick me up any time now."

"It's so confusing because you have two moms," Goldilocks said, raising a hand to her head. "I never know which one you're talking about!"

Henry laughed. "I'm off to Emma's house today."

"Do you want me to wait with you?" Goldilocks asked.

"Nah, it's okay thanks. You go back home," Henry replied.

Goldilocks shrugged, but smiled. "Alright. See you later then?"

Henry hugged her, and Goldilocks hugged back. "Yeah, see you later."

After a few short moments Goldilocks unhooked Henry's arms from around her waist and began to walk away, occasionally looking back at Henry and flashing him a smile.

Goldilocks now knew her way around Storybrooke very well, so she managed to find her way to Dr Hopper's apartment with no trouble. She opened the door and entered.

As soon as she got inside she was in the little sitting room, where there was a red two seated settee, a television in one corner, and a door that lead into the kitchen, that had their dining table in, and if you went up the small set of stairs you would see three doors. The one on the left was Dr Hopper's room, and one right in front was the bathroom, and the door on the right lead to Goldilocks's room.

As soon as Goldilocks got in she slipped off her smart black school shoes and left them side by side at the door and quickly took off her school sweatshirt and grabbed her white hoodie and slipped it on.

"Goldilocks, is that you?" Dr Hopper's voice came from the kitchen.

Goldilocks sat down on the settee and began to tie the laces of her trainers. "Yeah it's me. I'm getting ready to take Perdita for a walk."

Dr Hopper's face appeared in the doorway. "Hi honey," he smiled.

"Well you be able to help me with my chemistry homework?" Goldilocks asked.

"What's it about?" Dr Hopper asked.

"Something to do with the chemical elements, on the periodic table, or something along them lines!! I don't know, I didn't really understand the lesson!"

Dr Hopper laughed softly. "Yeah, sure I will, honey. We'll do it after dinner."

Goldilocks smiled. "Thanks dad." She finished tieing her laces and stood up. She blew the whistle on her necklace and Perdita appeared next to her, and began to bark happily.

"See you in about an hour," Goldilocks called, before grabbing the blue leash and closing the door and going outside.

It was actually a lot darker then Goldilocks realised, and she began to shiver. She quickly attached the leash to Perdita's collar and slipped the leash around her wrist before she stuffed her hands in her pockets and walked down the street.
