Goldilocks went to visit Regina again. She wore the same dress as before, but the only thing that was different this time was Goldilocks was carrying a brown satchel.

Goldilocks waited patiently by the fence, and Regina ran out of the palace. Today she was wearing a red dress and had her hair in a bun on the top of her head.

"Hello again," Goldilocks grinned as Regina pushed the loose bar out of the way. Goldilocks climbed into the garden. Are you okay?"

"Yeah," Regina smiled back at her best friend.

"And your mother is still away?" Goldilocks asked.

Regina nodded. "Come on!" The girls ran behind the huge tree again.

"Have you been practising your magic?" Goldilocks questioned her best friend as she sat down and placed her satchel next to her.

Regina nodded and held out the palm of her hand. She closed her eyes and concentrated so hard her cheeks went pink. Finally a small purple light appeared, and floated in Regina's palm. The light grew in size for about five seconds, before Regina finally opened her eyes and dropped her hand, causing the light to fade into nothing.

"That's all I can do," Regina sighed.

"Regina, that was amazing!!" Goldilocks acted like Regina has defeated the biggest, meanest ogre to roam The Enchanted Forest.

"Goldilocks, it wasn't that good," Regina rolled her eyes.

"But it's a start!" Goldilocks jumped to her feet. She grabbed Regina's hand and pulled her up too.

They practised magic for ages, and before too long Regina could create little flowers in the palm of her hand. Even though Regina was pleased, she couldn't help feeling jealous, because Goldilocks had much more advanced magic, and Regina wanted to learn how to use light magic so badly.

Hours passed, and Regina was become more powerful, practising new enchantments every few minutes. She was advancing quickly, even Goldilocks was slightly surprised.

Eventually Goldilocks admitted that she had something to tell Regina, and they sat down.

"What's up?" Regina asked.

"I- erm," Goldilocks paused. "I found out your mother is due to return in a few days."

Regina nodded. "Yes. And?"

Goldilocks took a deep breath. "I think it may be harder to come visit you."

"What? Why? You've come to visit me several times before, while she has been in the palace!" Regina exclaimed, shocked, and upset.

"Because now you're learning magic, good magic, and your mother will probably find out about it." Goldilocks anxiously bit her lip, waiting for Regina's response.

Regina was silent for several moments. "Can't I just pretend I'm getting the hang of dark magic?" Regina suggested.

Goldilocks gave a little laugh. "I think your mother will be able to tell the different between light and dark magic."

Regina looked down. "But will you still be able to come see me?" She whispered quietly.

"Of course, just not as often," Goldilocks said. "Here." She reached into the satchel and brought out a small teddy bear. The bear was a light brown colour, and he was in the sitting down position, with a green hat on his head, and a little red jacket.

"Aww," Regina smiled. "That's really cute."

"Jefferson showed me how to make it. You know Jefferson, don't you?" Goldilocks asked.

Regina nodded. Jefferson was one of her closest friends, and a very good sewer, and he loved to make hats off all sorts.

"I'm glad you like it," Goldilocks smiled. "Because it's yours." Goldilocks handed it to Regina.

"Really?" Regina took it off her best friend and looked at the bear. The bear smiled at her, and she smiled back.

"Yeah. A little gift from me to you," Goldilocks replied.

Regina thought for a minute, before finally taking off her necklace. It was a simple silver chain, and she handed it to Goldilocks.

"Wait, are you sure?" Goldilocks asked, carefully taking the necklace from Regina. "This looks really expensive."

"Yep. It's a little gift from me to you," Regina grinned, copying Goldilocks's words. Goldilocks rolled her eyes playfully and put the necklace on.

"I'll have to go now," Goldilocks stood up and grabbed her satchel.

Regina stood up. "Will you visit me?" She asked.

Goldilocks smiled. "I'll come back in about three days."

Goldilocks drew Regina into a hug, and Regina hugged back.

After what seemed like ages Goldilocks pulled away. "I will see you soon, okay?"

Regina nodded. "See you in three days."

But Regina never saw Goldilocks again...
