I had no one to trust and nowhere to go. I didn't know what I was going to do but I d*** sure wasn't going out like the sucker I've been. I kept seeing Amanda's lifeless body in my living room. I couldn't shake the image. I drove back to town and sat in the parking lot of my job, hoping I'd run into someone. I had my gun and I was ready for war. I sat in my car waiting. No sign of anyone. I decided that I'd head home and move Amanda's body. Something told me to check Keith's location using the car tracker, he was still at work. I thought to myself "Good!". That gives me enough time to get back to the house and clean up.

I pulled around the back of the house so that I could avoid being seen dragging Amanda's body out of the house. Before I could get out of the car, my phone rang. I didn't recognize the number but figured "What the h**l?" and answered it.

"Hello?" I answered

"If you walk into that house, you won't walk back out." said a whispering voice. I couldn't tell if the voice belonged to a man or woman.

"WHO IS THIS?" I shouted.

The phone call ended. I tried to redial the number but kept getting a "not in service" message. I looked around but couldn't see anyone, but someone was watching me. I was confused. I pulled off from my house and called Courtney. No answer. I called again, and someone picked up.

"She's dead."

"Who is this?" I screamed.

The call ended.

Wait! That was the same voice that had called me. Who is this? I looked the number up from my call log and it was registered to "Blake & Blake LLC" I thought to myself "Blake and Blake?", then it came to me "Blake's Law firm. "That's where Keith works. He didn't mean to call without blocking the number and now I was on to him.
