-You and Dally frequently slept in the same bed.
-It depended on the temperature during the night if you guys cuddle or not.

-He was a very quiet sleeper, surprisingly.
-He didn't move that much
-He is a light sleeper tho.

-You on the other hand
-Oh lord.
-On the hot nights you're all over the place
-Dally hates it.
-He's aggressive when he's tired.
-He'll usually slam his arm onto you and hold you in one place.
-One time you kicked and he caught your leg and threw it to the other end and it flipped you around
-You don't remember this, one of the guys witnessed it happening

-But in the winter you usually keep in one place: in Dally's arms.
-And because he was just recovering from the summer, he'll hold onto you tight.

-He's usually awake a lot longer than you
-You've stayed up a couple times watching the sun rise

-If you can't sleep he'll hold you and whisper to you about his day, or whisper sweet nothings into your ear.
-You love this, because his voice is so soothing.

-Nightmares, oof.
-That's a struggle
-You don't get them as often but when you do, you usually whimper and cry out in your sleep and toss and turn more aggressive than usual.
-He usually wakes you up and comforts you as you calm down and forget the dream so you can go back to sleep.

-But when he gets them, it's horrifying.
-You've never seen a man so weak.
-He doesn't usually get them, maybe three every year.
-He yells out in his sleep, sometimes your name, sometimes concerning words like 'help' or 'run'
-He breaths unsteady
-He sweats horribly
-Sometimes cries
-Throws his head around
-You shake him awake and he jolts up and thinks there's something wrong with you

-"Baby? What's wrong? Are you having another one of those dreams?"
-"No Dal, I'm not, but you are."
-He folds into your arms when he hears you say that for comfort.
-You stroke his messy hair as he falls back asleep
-They go away after you wake him up
-You think they're about New York
-He refuses to talk about them

-The gang loves to find you two asleep together
-They think it's adorable
-Dally is like super protective of you even in his sleep
-One time Ponyboy had a Polaroid camera and took a picture and Dally stole it from him acting mad and all and secretly keeps in his wallet
-He doesn't think you know but one time you were taking your license out and saw it
-You smiled so wide and closed it before he knew you knew
