She walked around the house, belly bigger than ever and still working. She felt run down and terrible but she had two other kids to care for so what was she supposed to do?

Dally came home from work and noticed her picking up after Adeline and Natalie. He immediately dropped everything and ran up to her.

"Y/n, stop, I'll do it. Sit down, this stuff can wait." He said and walked her to the couch. She sat down and put her feet up and let out an exhale. "You're right, but Dal, stuff has got to get done." She reasoned and he resumed what she was doing.

"I know, but I've already got the girls moved in with each other and the crib and everything set up." He said and walked up to her. He sighed and she looked at him. "I'll lay off." She said and he smiled. "How was your day?" He asked and she sighed too.

"What you saw me doing a couple minutes ago." She said and he pouted. He started to rub her shoulders and she loosened up. "I'll pick up the girls." He said and she closed her eyes and inhaled deeply and relaxed.

"And if I come back to you off that couch doing anything but getting food or going to the bathroom you're not gonna like the consequence!" He said and pointed at her. She giggled and he smiled. "Can't say punish me because we've already gone one in the oven." She joked and he laughed.

"I love you." He said and kissed her sweetly. He got into his car and drove to the school and picked up his kindergartener and sixth grader. The school year had just started, and Dally was almost 30. Y/n turned 30 next year.

Seeing his kids, he thought about how crazy it was. When they found out about Addy, it was a week after his 18th. She was still 17, and scared as shit. He stepped up and was phenomenal. Six years later, when they were both 24, they found out about Natalie. They told Adeline when she had already turned 7, and now the girls were 5 and 11, soon to be 12. He thought it was crazy how much Adeline had grown.

He went home and she was still sitting on the couch. She smiled at them and they both sat down next to her and she hugged them.

"How are you mama?" Addy asked and she looked at Dally briefly. "Ugh, tired. I can't wait to get this baby out of me." She complained and Addy giggled. Dally walked into the kitchen and cleaned things up before she called for him.

"Damn, I forgot- Dally! Can you go to the store please?" He walked out to the living room and stood in front of her. "Of course, what do you need?"

"I ran out of my cocktail of meds. Some of them are for prescription, some of them are on the shelves." She said and he nodded. She quickly wrote a list of the over-the-counter stuff and gave it to him. He kissed her and the girls groaned.

"Get a room!" Addy said and he chuckled. "Addy, I'm gonna say the same thing when you get a boyfriend when you're 40." He said and she giggled. "That's too old dad." She said and he smiled.

"That's the point." He said and kissed her forehead and said bye to Natalie before turning back around.

"Adeline, Natalie, make sure she doesn't get out off that couch unless it's absolutely necessary." He said and she groaned. "Dally just get out of here." She said and he smiled and left.

He came back and found his wife in their bed watching TV and he stocked the cabinet. He walked out and started to cook dinner and the girls ran up to him.

"Mama got up and started to clean around the house!" Addy said and he looked into the room at her. He felt disappointed with her, he didn't want her being too stressed, or overworked. He just wanted her to rest and do nothing until this baby was born.

"Y/n!" He called and walked into their room. She put on a fake sweet smile. "Yes my darling angel husband of 10 years who would do nothing of the sorts to hurt me or bother me, because I am pregnant with his baby." She said and he couldn't help but smile.

"Babygirl, please, just stay put, it's all I ask. I just want you to be comfortable." He said and sat down next to her. She rested her head on his shoulder and held his hand.

"I know. I just can't help it." She said. "Why don't we just have the girls do stuff? Adeline's almost 12, she's very capable of it." He offered and she nodded.

"Addy!" He called and she walked in. "You know, mama's almost ready to have this baby, can you please help out around the house a little more now and when it's born?" I asked and she smiled and nodded. "Tell your sister too." Y/n added.

"Anything for you guys." Addy said and walked away. He looked back at Y/n and smiled. "How'd we get so damn lucky?" He asked and she shrugged.

"I dunno but this one can always end that streak." She joked and they both started to laugh.
