A/N: this chapter is only in Dally's POV, modern. Based after their wedding.

"Dally!" I heard her yell from the bathroom. It was 7 am and I was barely awake, not even sure why I was awake.

"What?" I mumbled when I walked into the bathroom and saw her crying at the sink.

"What's wrong?" I said and rushed to her side. I looked at her and then looked at what she was holding. I picked it up out of her hands and saw a positive pregnancy test. I stared at it in disbelief for a minute and dropped it and gave her a big hug.

"Finally," She said. I hugged her tight and pulled away and looked at her. She was smiling and I kissed her, knowing that finally we had all that we wanted.

~~~
"Hey!" She exclaimed while happily walking into the Curtis house.
"Why're you so happy doll face?" Sodapop said as she sat down on the couch. I leaned on the doorframe and grabbed a cancer stick but she shot me a glare.
"No reason." She said and the gang shot each other looks.
"Tell us!" Ponyboy begged from the floor.
"I don't know if I should... what do you think Dal?" She teased.
"I don't know man," I said with a smirk and Darry crossed his arms.
"Do I have to beat it out of you?!" Two-Bit said playfully and started play fighting with y/n.
"Whoa! Two-Bit you wouldn't want to hurt a pregnant lady would you?" She exclaimed and everybody stopped what they were doing and looked at us. I went and I plopped down next to her and put my arm around her.
"Wait... you're pregnant?" Johnny said and everybody started cheering when we nodded.
"Well Babe I guess you're not the only one calling me daddy around the house anymore." I said and that got me a smack in the back of the head. I leaned in and started attacking her with kisses and everybody groaned.
"You've already got one on the way, I don't think you need another." Steve said and I laughed into the crook of her neck and I felt her gasp.
~~~

She laid on the couch with her feet up, feeling sick once again. I felt bad, I wanted to help her but I didn't know how. So, I just comforted her while she watched her reality TV. It was always a guilty pleasure.

"Do you really believe this shit? I mean, Kim is acting wayyy too dramatic to be believable." I said and she looked at me and laughed.

"Jesus Dal, didn't think you were so in tune with the Kardashians." She said and I rolled my eyes.

"I'm not wrong." And I focused more on the TV.

"Baby," She whined and I shot out of my gaze and looked at her, holding her stomach.

"Yes?" I said as I got out of my seat and she held her hand out and I grabbed it and helped her up.

"Let's go to bed, I'm tired." She said and I walked her to our bedroom. I didn't know being eight months pregnant could tear somebody down.

~~~
"Dally!" She yelled from the bathroom and I ran in, scared since she was 42 weeks.
"What?" I asked as I reached the door and I saw the floor covered in water.
"My- my water broke!" She yelled and the panic set in and I ran around the house like a chicken with its head cut off looking for the hospital bag.
"It's in the room!" She yelled and I ran there and found it. I grabbed it and threw it in the car and helped her to the car.
"It's 2 am. I do not want to be dealing with this." She said and I opened the door for her.
"I know honey, but soon we'll meet our baby!" I said and closed the door and slid across the hood and jumped into the drivers seat and she laughed. I turned the ignition on and rushed to the hospital, panicking.
~~~

"It's a girl!" The doctor said as our daughter was born. She threw her head back from exhaustion and I cut the umbilical cord and the gang rushed into the room.

"It's a girl!" She said tiredly.

"What's her name?" Ponyboy asked excited.

"Adeline Theodora Winston." I said with a smile. I liked the name Adeline and she loved the name Theodora so we agreed on Adeline Theo.

"Wow." Darry said as they brought our new bundle to us.

"Dally you're a dad." Steve said as he admired Adeline.

~~~
"Daddy!" Adeline said as she ran to me. I picked her up and brushed the hair out of her face. She had her mother's eyes, and my hair.
"Yes honey?" I said as she pulled at my hair.
"Mommy said to get you for dinner." She managed and I brought her inside and put her in her high chair.
"Hi baby," I said and kissed her forehead as she set up dinner and I grabbed the silverware from the drawer. I was changed, not rough anymore. I was proud of myself honestly.
"We have to have a talk later." She said and I dropped my smile and it turned into concern.
"O-Ok," I said and I sat down and ate, it was silent and awkward.
I cleaned up after our 3 year old and brought her to bed. Once I knew she was asleep, I went out to the living room and met her there.
"Hey-" I said and she started crying.
"How could you?" She said and I furrowed my brows with confusion.
"What?"
"I found this in the laundry." She said and held up an xs tank top. She was a medium.
"Baby-" I said knowing exactly who's it was. I screwed up. I was drunk, and I almost had sex with another woman but I remembered Adeline and my wedding ring and I pushed her off. But I guess she didn't grab all her clothes.
"No. Nope. Even after all this time, you cheated!" She yelled and I stepped back.
"I swear I didn't do anything, I pushed her off-" I said and she threw the shirt at me.
"You still started it! We have a child Dallas!" She yelled.
"Will you just listen to me?!" I yelled back.
"No! I don't have to! Because obviously, you have found somebody much more worth your time than your family!"
"We didn't do anything!" I scared myself with my own voice but I didn't stop.
"Don't use that tone with me." She said in a lower voice.
"I'll use it if I want because obviously you don't want to listen to me, and if you did you'd actually realized that I didn't do anything!"
"Fuck you Dally, fuck you. Go off and find that whore and leave us alone!" Adeline started screaming and crying. I shot her a glare and stormed down the hall to her room. I picked her up out of her bed and sat in the rocking chair in her room.
"What's the matter honey?" I said and she hid in my shoulder.
"I don't like it when mommy and daddy are yelling at each other." She said and I caressed her head.
"I don't like it either." I whispered and she stopped crying when she realized I was. She looked at me and rubbed my tears away with her tiny hands and hugged me.
"Don't cry daddy." She said and I hugged her back.
I softly rocked back and forth and y/n came and put her hand on my shoulder and I wiped my tears away and put Adeline in the chair and hugged her.
"I swear I didn't do anything." I said and she wiped her own tears away.
"I believe you."
