I took our two year old by the hand and let him down the rocks.

"Daddy and all your uncles are down there," I said to Matthew and he jumped up from excitement and tried running down the steep rocky steps. I stopped him and picked him up and quickly walked down to the quarry.

"Daddy!" Matthew exclaimed and ran to the water and I saw Dally turn his head and see his son, with a wide smile creeping along his cheeks.

"Hi buddy!" He said and came in shore and picked him up and spun him around. He looked back up at me and I waved and he winked at me. He carried Matthew out and played with him and I sat on the rocks and looked at them.

"You really got lucky, huh?" Darry asked as he sat down next to me.

"Mhm." I replied and continued to watch my two boys.

Johnny and Ponyboy both joined in playing with him and Dally escaped to come see me. He came closer and I stood up and as soon as he reached me he grabbed my waist and spun me around and kissed me.

"Was he any trouble?" He asked me when he pulled away.

"Little bit, didn't want to eat today. He was too excited to see you guys." I said and he nodded and we both looked back down at the water as everybody else played with him. They were surprisingly good with kids, and Matthew absolutely adored them all.

A couple of girls came and set up as Ponyboy brought Matthew to us when he was getting tired, and they were all staring at Dallas. He noticed, wrapped his arm around my waist and picked Matthew up and I looked over at them.

"Take a picture, it will last longer." I snapped and they all acted like I murdered a kitten in from of them. Dally just laughed and Matthew reached for his hair.

"Still as feisty even with a kid," He said and I looked at him, smiling.

"Haven't lost my touch yet baby," I said and I kissed him until Matthew started saying "Eww!"

"Yeah Matt, ewww!" Two-Bit called out and I picked up a rock and threw it as his head. He dodged and flipped me off and Dally and I both acted like we were offended.

"There is a child!" Dally sarcastically yelled and put his hands over his son's eyes.

"How dare you tear the innocence from my son!" I yelled and everybody started jokingly agreeing and attacking Two-Bit.

I laughed and looked at Dally who was finally happy and I hugged his side while Matthew pawed at us to pick him back up.
