I woke up to the sounds of my newborn, Owen, screaming. The baby monitor was on and he looked so angry, and I didn't know what to do. It was the fourth week of him waking me up every night.

I looked over at my husband and he was sound asleep and I groaned and I got out of bed. I picked him up from his crib and I rocked him and he quieted down.

"Owen. Please. Go to sleep." I whispered and I nearly cried from exhaustion. He started to sleep and I put him back in the crib. Addy tiredly walked into the room and stood in the door way and rubbed her eyes.

"Hey honey," I said through a raspy voice. She walked up to the crib and looked in. I put my arm around her and she put her finger on her brother's hand.

"What are you doing up?" She smiled at me. "I heard Owen crying, thought you wanted some help since daddy won't get up." She said and I smiled.

"Yeah, he's currently sleeping right now." I said and chuckled. I kissed her on the forehead and started to walk out. "You've got school in the morning." I whispered and she nodded. "I know. I'll go back soon."

I smiled and I went back to my bedroom. He was sitting on the edge of the bed and I walked in. He looked up at me and stood up.

"I'm so sorry," He said and he pulled me in. "For what?" I asked and and I put my hands in his soft hair.

"Not waking up and going to Owen. You've been doing that for a month and I feel terrible." He said and I walked to my side of the bed and got in. He got in next to me and wrapped me up and kissed me.

"I ever tell you how damn proud of you I am?" Dally asked me and I blushed. "Not in a long time." I said and he hummed. "I am." He said before he fell back asleep. I did too, but it was after I smiled and thought about how lucky I was.

I woke up the next morning and I checked the time. It felt late and I noticed it being 10 am and I shot out of bed and ran to my closet and dressed. I ran out and found Dally with Owen on his chest, the girls at school and breakfast in the oven warming for me. I looked at him and he looked at me and smiled.

"Dally? What the fuck?" I asked and I went and sat next to him and grabbed my son from his body. He was one of the cutest I've ever seen and he stretched and squeaked. Dally kissed my head and got up and I held Owen close.

"I felt bad for not doing much, so, I let you sleep in and I took the girls to school." He said and I sat in confusing anger. Owen lifted his head and opened his eyes and looked around and I smiled at him.

Dally came back and sat next to me. "I- I just don't understand-" I said and I looked at him and he smirked.

"I got it under control, just relax. You just had a baby!" He said and put his arm behind me. "Yeah, a month ago, and I have priorities." I fought back and he kissed me like he used to before we had kids. I missed that kiss, so I didn't let him go and when he pulled away he smiled.

"Well, babygirl, your health is my main priority. So, whether you like it or not, I'm going to force you to relax." He said and I looked at our son.

I looked back at Dally and he was looking at Owen. "I never really took a minute to admire him, he looks like you." I said and he hummed.

"He looks like you too. He's gonna grow up and have all the girls on his trail." He said and I rested my head on his shoulder.

A few hours later, the girls came home and they started to help out with their brother. They put his milk in the bottles, they cleaned up his room, they grabbed some toys and they played with him. They changed him and I stood watching with Dally.

"Look at our girls." I said and he put his hand on my waist. We admired them helping out and I looked at Dally. "I miss how we were before Addy was born, but I am too damn grateful for this." I said and he smiled and kissed me.

"I wouldn't trade anything for this." He said and the girls came up to us and handed me Owen. Dally got on his knees and hugged both of them.

"Guys, we really appreciate your help." He said and they nodded. They hugged him again and he smiled. "Don't worry daddy, anytime you need us we'll be here." Addy said and I covered my face because I was about to cry of happiness. I looked at Owen who met my eyes and smiled a wide smile.
