I had this weird feeling two months after Dally and I had sex in the car. I decided enough was enough, I went to the store and I bought a pregnancy test. I took Adeline with me, she was confused but I let her get candy.

I went home and swallowed my pride and went into the bathroom. My last pregnancy was terrible, and I know Dally was excited for Addy but were we really ready for this one? We're 24 and we're working hell hours to try to raise Addy right.

I took the test while she watched her cartoons and I tapped my foot against the tile while sitting on the toilet, terrified. I waited for five minutes until I looked at the digital test.

Pregnant.

I let a cry out and Addy ran to the door and knocked. "Mommy are you okay?" She asked and wiped my tears. I closed the test in the cabinet and I opened the door. She hugged me and I hugged her back. "Please don't be sad, daddy will be here soon." She said and I giggled. "I know."

She took my hand and we watched her cartoons while she played barbies in the living room. Dally came home and put his stuff in the mud room and sat down next to me on the floor.

I looked at him and smiled and he moved his eyes from mine to my lips and kissed me. "How was your day?" I asked and he shrugged. "Not bad," He said and I rested my head on his shoulder. Addy walked to us and sat between us. "Hi baby," Dally chuckled. "Hi daddy," She said and watched her cartoons.

"How was your day honey?" He asked her and she sighed. "Well it was good but mommy was sad so that made me sad." She told him and he looked at me. "It's nothing Dal I promise, just a sad commercial." I said and he looked at me confused and looked back at Addy.

He got up to make dinner and I rushed into the bathroom and took the test and slipped it into my pocket. I didn't want to tell him, no sir.

~~~Two months later

I was nearing my fourth month, I learned the gender. I was starting to show. I needed to tell him.

"Baby." I said from the couch. Addy was sleeping next to me and Dally was watching the TV. He looked at me and I moved my head indicating that he needed to meet me in the bedroom. I got up and went to the bed and sat on the end. He walked in and closed the door and he looked at me. "Is everything alright?" He asked me and I looked at the ground.

"Actually, I've been hiding something from you and I hate that I have been." I said and he sat down next to me and I reached in my pocket and pulled out the test. I handed it to him and he looked at it.

"Well this is good news right?" He said and I shrugged. He put it on the bed and hugged me.

"It's another girl." I whispered and he pulled away. "Well how far along are you?" He asked. "Four and a half months." I said and he chuckled. "How do you want to tell Adeline?" He asked me. "Let's wait a little while." I said and he hugged me again.

"I hope you know I'm real happy right now but I'm also real tired." He told me and I smiled. "I was scared again, are we ready?"

"Of course we are." He said.

~~~Three more months later

"Addy!" Dallas called out. Adeline ran to us and I sat down carefully, I was going through a real tough time now.

"Yeah?" She said and sat down next to us. "We have something to tell you," I said and she nodded and looked at us. "You're gonna be a big sister!" Dally said and she got super excited and jumped up and down. "Is it a girl? Please tell me it's a girl!" She asked and ran to us.

We both looked at each other and smiled. "It's a girl," I said and she gave me a big hug. She ran to Dally and he picked her up and he jumped his leg.

"You want to talk to the baby?" Dally asked her and she nodded. She leaned over and put her hand on my stomach and kissed it. "Hi baby, I'm your big sister! We're gonna have so much fun together, I've heard so much about babies and how they poop and cry and don't sleep, but don't worry, I won't mind. I'll be right there to help you when you do." She said and I looked at Dally and he smiled and I started to cry a little bit.

"Can I help you name her?" She asked excitedly. Dally nodded and she clapped a little and went back to my stomach. "I like the name Natalie." She said and I looked at him. So did I, and he smiled and nodded. "I think we'll do Natalie sweetie," I told her and she got even more excited. She jumped down from Dally's lap, and yelled "Best day ever!". Me and Dally laughed and I rubbed my stomach and she hugged us again.

"Natalie Grace, after my sister." I said when Addy ran to the living room. He kissed me. "I love it." He said and I kissed him again.
