JONGHYUN'S POV
"Need a tissue, ?" I asked, softly.
The looked at me with her wet eyes, surprised and confused. I could tell what she was thinking.
Did he stalk me here or something?
"Did you stalk me here or something?" she asked hoarsely. Ha- I told you.
I shrugged. "Not really. I just happened to find you storming into the park and decided to follow you. My first intention was to pull another prank but then I saw you crying."
She looked down. "Oh."
I was still holding a tissue on in my hand and kind of digging my feet into the snow. Awkward...
"Well? Are you going to take the tissue or what?" I asked, sitting down.
She furrowed her eyes at me. She looked at the tissue then at me again.
"I think I'll pass..." she trailed off.
I laughed a little. "It's ok- I didn't put any drugs in it or anything," I assured her.
She hesitated, biting her lip a little but then took it and dabbed her eyes.
I watched her clean her face. It's really weird watching a girl you hate cry...
Very awkward...
"So, will you tell me why you were crying?" I asked.
She shook her head. "No."
What.
"What? Why not?" I asked.
"Well because it's none of your business."
"B-but I gave you a tissue!"
"So? You don't need to know about my personal life. You might do something, anyways," she mumbled.
I sighed. "I won't. I... I promise," I told her.
She looked at me one more time until sighing.
"My mom... was disappointed in me and slapped me," she told me.
I furrow my eyes. This girl... cried because her mother slapped her? Slapped her?
"So? That's not a big deal," I scoffed.
"I knew you wouldn't understand," she muttered.
Oh. So there's more to this slap.
"Then tell me more so I could understand," I said.
"No..."
She looked uncomfortable with this. Is it really that bad...?
"Just tell me already, I won't do anything I swear," I swore.
She sighed deeply.
"My mom wants me to perfect... like her," she mumbled.
Her mother's perfect?
Well, when I saw her mother she was pretty damn hot and what the hell am I saying?
All I'm going to say is, that this didn't get any good looks from her mother.
I'm so mean. Hehe.
"And...?" I asked.
She looked down. "She wants me to get perfect grades, a perfect personality and good behavior."
"Wow... you have none of those things."
"Is this your way of cheering me up?" she snapped.
"I never said I came here to cheer you up, I just gave you a tissue."
"Then leave and get the out of my face."
"Too late- you already told me some of the things. You have to tell me more or else."
"Or else what?" she asked.
"Or else, I will have to touch you all over your body- remember your weakness?" I asked, grinning.
She rolled her eyes. "Fine..."
Don't disagree with me- wait, did she just agree with me? Did she just say fine? What a miracle-
First, I see her crying. Then, I learn she has a problem. Now, she agreed with me about something I thought she'd tell me to off to??
I am loving this day.
"My mother's a freak- forcing me to do extra work to be the best in school or maybe, even South Korea. I always had to a lot of math and english with her and it was very tiring for me. She was always single and always took care of me, even when she was being mean and rude. I couldn't do anything because she was my mother. She was vicious and I didn't want to do anything with her so I let her boss me around so she can stay out of my life more," she explained.
Whoa. Her mom's a way bigger than her.
No wonder this girl isn't so friendly...
I learned, that there was more to the mother and her.
"I have a dad... but they divorced because Mom hated him. I don't know why, that's all I know. But I always think I should've gone with my Dad... I would've been a better person," she sighed.
Suddenly I blurt out the most stupidest thing that came out of my mouth ever, in my whole life.
"If you went with your Dad, I wouldn't have met you and we wouldn't be having such fun games with each other," I admitted.
Realizing what I just said, I widened my eyes and put both of my hands on my mouth and blinked twice.
Oh - what did I do? Now she's gonna make fun of me. .
She might even get me back for the scenario I pulled out.
She looked at me carefully for some time.
Just say it already... just say I'm a loser already...
The most melodic sound comes from her mouth. Laughter.
She was smiling and laughing. I swear the sun came out just for her laughter.
I was so shocked, I fell onto the thick snowy ground.
DID SHE JUST LAUGH?!
She did.
She looked at me after laughing.
"Haha, I have fun too! It's the only thing that gets me going after the sick labor from my mother," she said.
I pointed at her, my finger trembling. "D-don't scare me l-like that ever a-again," I told her.
She raised an eyebrow. "You're so stupid," she scoffed, rolling her eyes.
Okay- that's better.
I sit back down next to her. "Is that it?"I asked.
"Mhm. You can go now."
"Are you going to go?"
"No."
"Then why do I have to go?"
She folded her arms and smirked at me.
"Do you like me, little boy?" she asked, going back to how she was before.
I scoffed. "Psh. Of course not! I've got so many other girls to bang anyways," I answered.
She sighed. "Okay, good. 'Cause if you liked me, that would be a problem."
"How?"
"Because I don't like you."
I smirked at her. "Good. Because I don't like you either. I hate you."
She nodded. "The feeling's mutual."
And we both just sat there, looking at each other after we said we hate each other once again.
But right now, I know both of us are thinking that we do not hate each other anymore- just a little above that.
Like... friendship.
