I squinted as I tried to get a clearer vision on who that was a few yards away. After looking at him for awhile, I could already tell this guy was Minho. And he was looking for someone. As soon as I knew it was Minho, questions started to bounce in my head.
What is he doing here? Why here, anyway? What does he got to do with the house? Why does he look constipated? Do I need to go to the bathroom? What am I going to eat? Why do I keep talking in my head? How the hell did I go from Minho to bathroom use and starvation? Why can't I shut up?
I excuse myself for being stupid and make my way towards the house next to mine. Minho was still looking at it, straining his neck to get a better look. He still hasn't noticed me and we were here for a couple of minutes.
I decided to break this silence. "Hey," I greeted him. His head snapped in my direction and after realizing it was me, a warm smile appeared on his face.
"Hey," he replied, flashing his shiny pearls at me.
"Mmm... is there a reason why you're here?" I asked.
His smile slowly left his face. "Uh, well... I wanted to see someone who lives here," he answered.
I frowned. "But no one lives here..." I trailed off.
Before he could say anything, an unfamiliar voice calls out. "Minho?"
The voice was coming behind Minho, so my eyes darted behind Minho. There, stood a girl that wasn't short but wasn't tall. She had black hair that was straight but was up to her shoulders. She was wearing a loose shirt with tight skinny jeans and had a bag strapped around her side. She wasn't the best looking girl in town, I could tell you that. No, I'm not intending she's ugly; I'm trying to say she looked plain. Normal. Whatever makes you happy, I don't know.
Minho turned around to face her and you could already see the happiness spreading across the girl's face.
"Yanna!"
Suddenly, the girl chucks herself into Minho's open arms and they start suffocating each other. It looked like that in my point of view.
She was smiling so wide and I think Minho was smiling too if I ever got to see his face. I furrowed my eyes. What the hell is going on? Are they ever going to get out of each other's grasp? Should I go? Would that be considered rude? Why am I asking myself questions again? Will I ever be able to shut up?
By the time I got out of my mental asking, I laid my eyes on Minho and the so-called "Yanna", and was just in time for dessert. I thought "Yanna" was going to jump back onto the ground, but she crashed her lips against Minho's instead. My eyes almost popped out of my head as soon as I saw that. A girl is kissing Minho. A girl.
And Minho is kissing her back.
I wonder how Taemin will feel about this.
The rated kiss they were having seemed to take several minutes of time and it was kind of awkward just standing there seeing two people making out. You were like the third wheel of a bicycle that only has two wheels. Do you know how awkward that feeling is?
I kept staring and staring and staring because honestly, it wasn't boring. Sure it may be awkward, but the kiss was really intense. You could just see the tongues flipping away. You could barely see the saliva! They must be professionals.
And as I'm talking away into my own mind, I wonder what the hell am I saying. I'm talking about how intriguing it is to see two other people kiss. Like what the ? When did I become so interested in this? It's probably because of the s that's been hanging around me for several months. Stupid bastards.
"Yanna" wrapped her arms around Minho's neck and pulled him closer, receiving a grunt from Minho. Minho started to trail his hand down towards "Yanna"'s hip and started to... massage it? It seemed like it.
She moaned into the touch and they both kept on kissing and kissing and kissing...
This is really awkward.
As much as I'd like not to ruin this... nice moment, I have to. I mean, it's just weird isn't it? Why can't I just leave? Why am I still asking myself questions?!
I cleared my throat loudly enough for them to hear. Thankfully, they both listened to my little plead to stop and the girl got off Minho. She scratched her head uncomfortably as a slight blush appeared on her face. She was looking at the floor as Minho turned back to the Minho I thought I knew. Minho has got two sides; be careful when you're with him.
"Sorry Mi Young- I kind of got..." Minho trailed off, unsure of what to say.
"Caught up in the moment?" I finished for him, helping him out. Minho nodded as he smiled awkwardly.
"Yeah, that."
Silence occurred between us three. I decided to break it. "Soo... who's she?" I asked, referring to the girl who was still looking at the floor. The girl looked up as soon as I said that and she bowed. By the time she got up, she had a smile on her face.
"Anneyeonghaseyo. My name's Lee Yanna. I'm Minho's girlfriend," she introduced herself as her eyes twinkled.
I nodded. "I kind of noticed."
She laughed awkwardly. "Yeah, about that- I'm sorry. I just kind of lost my mind when I saw Minho oppa. Again, really sorry..." she bowed once again. I shook my head.
"Nah, you don't have to be sorry. I understand how you feel," I tell her.
"Oh, you have a boyfriend too?" she asked.
Hahaha. I would never wish. "No. Single forever," I smirked, placing a peace sign by my chest. Yanna nodded.
"Well, it's nice to meet you... uhm, Mi Young?"
"Yeah. That's my name."
"Nice name!"
"I should be saying that; never seen a girl names 'Yanna'."
This caused her to smile. "Aw, thanks! You seem like a really nice girl, Mi Young."
... pfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffft. Then you must get to know me. I shrugged. "You seem nice too."
She laughed. "If you think that now, then wait until you really get to know me," she warned, even though I could sense a tone of kindness and humor in there somewhere.
"I say the same," I raised my eyebrows. She seemed amused with what I said.
"Okay then. It's a deal," she smirked, holding out her hand. I looked down at it, hesitating on what to do but eventually took the gesture and shook it.
"Deal," I smirked back at her.
Suddenly, Minho laughed. I turned my head to him and raised an eyebrow. "Something wrong?" I asked. Minho shook his head after calming down from laughing.
"No. It's just that I didn't intend for you guys to get along so quickly. For you Mi Young, I thought you would be the one who would the most time getting to like her. Turns out I was wrong," Minho explained.
"How long have you known she was staying here?" I asked.
"Like a couple of weeks. Yanna told me she decided to move here so she could get closer to me," Minho replied.
"Yah! You're making me sound like a desperate, obsessed girlfriend!" Yanna pouted, making a face at Minho. Minho laughed at her and pulled her closer with an arm around her.
"She's not really angry, right?" I asked.
"No, she isn't. But she's really scary when she's angry."
"Great, now Mi Young won't even bother trying to be my friend. Are you trying to make me lonely, pabo?" Yanna asked, obviously joking around. Minho laughed again and this time, kissed her cheek. Yanna seemed to cool down after that.
"You seem like a cool person so don't worry," I assured her.
Yanna smiled at me. "You really are nice! You sure you're not nice?" she asked.
"100 percent."
"Alrighty then."
"How long have you known Minho?" I asked her.
"As soon as we finished intermediate school. We met during this summer camp for kid athletes and Minho and I had to be partners for everything. He kept on getting on my nerves on how to do kick and make a goal in soccer and all that crap, but then I saw a better side of Minho and decided... 'Hey, he's not so ugly when he's not bossy'," Yanna replied.
"I was never ugly!" Minho defended.
"When you were bossy, you freaking were," Yanna shot back.
"Yah!" Minho snapped.
"Yah!" she snapped back.
"Yah, do you guys fight a lot?" I asked, amused by their little fight.
"Maybe. Never big, though. Minho can't stand to lose against me," Yanna rolled her eyes.
"I never lost against you for anything," Minho declared.
"That's what you always want to think but you know that isn't true," she winked.
"Yanna..." Minho sighed.
Yanna giggled. "You see, Mi Young? He can't stand losing. Always been like that for every game we've been through," she rolled her eyes.
Minho pouted. "Why can't you just shut your mouth?" he muttered.
"Why don't you make me?" she asked, trying to get into his face. I snickered. They're so cute together. Not as dramatic as Key and Hea Won and I find that really cool to see. I've never another couple besides Key and Hea Won. I'm glad Minho has someone. He's really quiet most of time and now I know why he goes on his phone a lot; because his loving girlfriend is always there for him.
How nice it is ...
"You live here, Yanna?" I asked, referring to the house behind us. Yanna nodded.
"Yup. Just moved in a couple of hours ago. And from what I see, you must live close by...?"
"Yeah. I'm your next door neighbor, actually," I answer.
"Oh, then that's cool! Don't worry, I won't stalk you or anything. Unless you want me to..."
"Uh, no. That's okay."
Yanna started to laugh. I shrugged a little, and Minho smiled.
JONGHYUN'S POV
"Oppa, can you please..."
I sighed once more. This girl doesn't give up easily, does she? I was staring at a girl who was standing dangerously close to me with her uniform shirt buttoned down just enough to show her cleavage. She had a pout plastered on her face and she was trying to lean into me more.
Let me paint you a picture on what happened before: I get out of class, walking towards the exit. I encounter Mi Young and feel jumpy and jittery all over. She actually said good luck!
Okay, well she said I needed the luck, but it's the same thing, right?
After Mi Young leaves and I was about to leave, that girl comes behind me as she wraps her arms around me wanting a from me. I told her no very nicely the first time but she wouldn't budge. She kept on persuading me the best she could, but I wouldn't give in to her. Second time I said no, she leaned into me a little closer, exposing a lot of cleavage. I looked away from her and successfully managed to move her away a little. Third time I say no with a little anger rising in my voice yet she still doesn't go away.
Now it's the fourth time and I'm really pissed off.
"Let's just do it now and no one will ever know," the girl giggled, pulling me closer to her lips. I put a hand up in front of her face and slightly push it away.
She stumbled back a little and looks back at me in disgust. "What the hell?" she asked.
"Can you understand at all? I said no. I don't want to you," I told her for the billionth time.
"And why not?"
"Because I'm done banging girls. It just doesn't feel right. So goodbye," I answer, turning away.
However, she turns me around and puts her hands on her hips. "Tell me why you're done banging girls. I want an answer," she demanded.
"Why? Why, you ask? Because it's not right anymore. I told you that, didn't I? It's not right. I've got other better things to do, so please; if you really wanna have , go with a bastard in the school. I'm done," I reply, avoiding her as I walk towards the exit and out.
I walk towards home, feeling much better that I said that and actually nowhere near denial for saying that. I really don't have a tingling feeling to anyone anymore.
Well, not everyone though...
Aish, I wonder when I'll get to see her again. I still haven't gotten used to the new schedule but I plan on to memorizing the times I have science. Out of all the gazillion classes we have, I only have one with Mi Young. And it's a freaking subject where I'm a total dumbass. She already thinks I'm a stupid bastard; now she'll know I'm even stupider.
If that's even possible.
At least I get to see her ten times a week. God, I get to see her ten times a week. That's ing great. No, not ing great- absolutely ing amazingly great.
I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HER!
Wait, then what am I going to do? Do I say hi or do I be a bastard to her or what? If I automatically become nice, she'll definitely suspect something. But if I'm a bastard, she'll never like me and I'll feel horrible saying things I don't even mean.
, THIS IS ANNOYING.
I sigh in frustration as I lay my eyes on my house. But then my eyes avert to the path that led to Mi Young's house.
...
Well... it isn't that far.
...
Maybe I could just see her for a bit?
...
Nah, she'll probably think I'm a stalker or something. I don't want that.
...
But I really want to see her. But then again, I just saw half an hour ago. And I'll be able to see her twice tomorrow.
...
Yeah, I should just go home. It'll give me time to think about what I should do around her now. You know everyone knows now? And when I mean by everyone, I mean my friends.
Supposedly, Hea Won "knew" and she told everyone. They all congratulated me and thought we should have a little celebration for this. Taemin didn't hear on this though. He was too busy wondering if he should take extra dance classes.
They better keep their freaking mouths shut or I will cut off their heads and hang it up in my room while I laugh manically as I look at their bloody messed up faces.
I went inside my house and found my mom not home yet. My sister was probably in her room, listening to music or something. I jogged up the stairs and into my room, throwing my backpack across the room and I jumped onto my bed.
I laid on it as I kept thinking about Mi Young and my acting.
... Maybe I should keep acting like a bastard. I'll just slap myself a thousand times after.
Stupid plan, but it might work.
And then I think about Mi Young.
She smiled at me today. She helped me a little in class. She touched my hand when giving me my pencil.
I smiled to myself. There'll probably be more things that'll include her touching me. Even if it's just a pat or a brush against my hand, I want her to touch me. I want to feel the tingling moment again.
And as more as I think about it, I think I'm becoming like Taemin each second.
