BILLIE'S POV
Shit they changed routes!

I quickly turned the wheel at 9 o'clock with both hands.
I hit the gas and sped to their direction.
"Billie, calm down!" Adie said.
Argh! Forgot that my family's here...well, not all of them.
Aliyah's still out there..

"Sorry, I-I...sorry." I didn't know what else to say.

Just my luck...it's traffic.
In a highway?? COME. ON!
"Fuck!" I cursed. I honked the horn but it was no good.

Frustrated, I got out of the car and ran.

Yeah, call me stupid but...you really do stupid things when you're in love.
Well, you can't call it stupid...

I ran past 10 cars already and saw a commotion.
I squeezed my way past them and found Aliyah's lifeless body on the ground.

"Oh God!" My hand flew to my mouth. I failed to hold back my tears.
She lay there, not moving a muscle. I couldn't even tell if she was breathing.

Her knees were scraped and she had a gash along her temples to her jaw.

I was about to cradle her in my arms when somebody stopped me.
The ambulance came and put her in a stretcher.

I stood there and watched the van as it drove away.
"I'm sorry......" I sobbed.
