Lily's p.o.v.

I stood patiently at Wendy's porch waiting for someone to open up.

In desperate need to cheer up my bestfriend, I promised to talk to his girlfriend, something I now see was a hasty decision.

I had already started regretting my decision on my way here but I couldn't break my promise.

Hence, me standing at her porch, under the rain.

The things I would do to keep a smile on that boys face.

I was brought back to reality by the sound of the door unlocking.

"Ye-oh it's you." I didn't miss the sound of irritation in her tone.

No guys it wasn't Wendy, it was her older sister Willow.

"Can I please talk to Wendy?" I asked, trying my best to be polite.

"Please, I think you and your friend have done enough." She scoffed and started closing the door but I put my foot in.

"Please I need to talk to her." I pleaded.

If I went home without talking to her, I wouldn't be able to stand Fred's disappointed face.

Plus I promised.

And I can't break a promise, especially when it's to one of my bestfriends

Kind of you're only bestfriend though.

I ignored the taunting voice in my head and focused on the task at hand.

"She's not at ho-"

"Lily?"

Relief washed over me as I saw Wendy push past Willow and stand infront of her.

"Is there a problem?" She asked sweetly.

Damn, is she really related to this spawn of satan?

"Umm, please can I talk to you?"

I noticed Willow opening her mouth to speak so I continued.

"...in private?"

"Of course, come in." Wendy said as she opened the door wider for me.

"Thankyou Wendy." I said as I walked in, bumping into Willow by mistake.

Yes...by mistake.

I also pretended not to see the nasty look in her eyes.

I followed Wendy upstairs to her room and sat on a random chair at the corner of the room.

After locking the door, she plopped on the bed.

"Sorry I had to lock the door, my sister can be a little nosy at times." She apologised.

We both turned to the door when we heard the door handle shake rapidly.

We both couldn't help the giggles that left our mouths.

I waited for our giggles to die down and when there was a comfortable silence around us, I decided to speak.

"So what I came to talk about-"

"I know what you came to talk about. I kind of already knew you were going to come and try to talk this out with me but there's no need. I've already made my mind up, I'm breaking up with him."

No, no, no, no, no...

"Wait Wendy he has changed-"

"Then why didn't he tell me?" She snapped.
