Lily's p.o.v.

She cheated on my dad with...Kristines dad.

I stood there in silence, trying to soak the words in.

"Mom, are you serious?"

When I didn't get an answer it only stirred my anger.

"A-and you sat there acting like the victim. When you were the villain all along! Aren't you ashamed of yourself?! I looked up to you! WE LOOKED UP TO YOU!!!" I yelled, gesturing to the door Kristine just ran out of.

When I didn't get anything but sobs as her answer, I gave her my nastiest glare, although she couldn't see me with her head on the table, then ran out the door.

I need to find Kristine, she must be so heartbroken.

So I went around searching streets, I couldn't see a sign of her. She should be around here somewhere, I'll find her in no time.

But sadly, Kristine never came home that night.

Kristines p.o.v.

As I walked in with my head down in anger, I began to see little droplets of water appear on the concrete sidewalk.

Are you fucking serious?!!

Is this some kind of fucking tragedy movie? I find out that my aunt screwed her sisters husband...my moms husband...my DAD.

Is that why they've been fighting?

Does my mom know?

Then why did she send me here?

It doesn't even make sense.

I've always felt respect towards my aunt. Having her husband leave her and still trying to take care of her family.

But now, all I feel towards her is anger and disgust.

One thing's for sure, I can't stay in that house anymore.

But where will I go?

I can't go home. There's too much arguments, it's too chaotic, I wouldn't survive. AND IT'LL BE ALL HER FAULT.

She ruined my family and hers, she didn't even have the guts to confess it.

She left if all up to her imagination, she knew we were gonna think he was the villain in the story, but it was her all along.

She was the one who ruined my family. And she acted like she cared.

I talked to her about everything. I told her how I felt about my parents arguments. She sat there and listened like she was innocent, like she wasn't the cause of all my problems.

The sound of thunder brought me out of my dilemma and I began to remember I needed to find shelter soon.

I took out my phone and dialled the one person who I know will always have my back.

Me: Can I please come stay at your place? My place is a mess right now.

💫Myself💫: Off course, there's a storm coming though, you might want to be quick.
