Lily's pov.
I watched as Damien and Samantha walked up to us, holding hands might I add. Fred pat Damien on the back in a proud manner and Emmett just gave a half smile. Samantha was an entirely different story, she looked like she was about to burst.
i was just happy Juls didn't break his heart' I have no idea what effect that would have on the group, but needless to say' it won't be good.
The bell rang and we all went to our various classes, I had history this morning, which wasn't a very good way to start the day. You could thank the universe for my cursed luck.
I sat on my personal seat beside the window and began looking out of it, as I waited for the teacher to walk in. The old lady eventually walked into the class and everyone quieted down. She was really old, but refused to retire because she loves teaching, she once almost had a stroke when the class was too noisy, so everyone just tries not to stress her too much. The school tried to come through to her but to no avail.
"Did write the report I told you to last week?" She asked and I knit my eyebrows in confusion.
What report?
"You didn't give us a report ma'am." One of the nerds called out amidst everyone's confusion. "Oh, I must've forgotten." She said more to herself as she adjusted her glasses and brought out a stack of papers from her file. She tends to do that a lot, forget to give us an assignment. Sometimes we even used this to our advantage, if most people forgot to do the work, we would say she didn't give it to us, which was a believable excuse.
She swiftly handed the papers to the whole lass,, for an old lady, she was pretty quick actually. I began to stare out the window but listen to the teacher at the same time, I do that a lot, I think it's a talent.
"Lily what did I just say?" The teacher called me out, I hate when teachers do that, why try to disgrace a student for no reason?
"You said slavery was completely abolished in the year 1865 on January 31st" I said watching as she adjusted her glasses' trying to wrap her head around the fact that I got the question right.
I continued to stare out the window until the bell rang, I waited for everyone to leave the class before I stepped out, I mean tried to step out.
I was pinned against the wall, before I could realize what was happening, a hand clamped over my mouth, I licked the person's hand. By the way the person did not react, I knew who it was immediately.
I raised my gaze to meet Justin's blue orbs. He slowly moved his hand away from my mouth, with a smirk on his face. "Bastard." I spat the second his hand left my mouth completely.
"Look who's talking." He quipped looking all smug. I instantly caught on to the hidden meaning behind what he said and I gasped.
"Why can't you just leave me alone? You broke up with me, what more do you want?!" I yelled in frustration. It's actually very annoying, why did you break up with me, if you were gonna bug me every single chance you get.
Not that I'm saying, he shouldn't have broken up with me, just...don't talk to me anymore, it's better than reminding me how pathetic II actually am for falling for you in the first place.
"I just came to tell you I know what you're doing." He stated firmly searching my eyes for God knows what, not complaining tho, it's better than the places he usually searches.
Ew.
"Play my best friend, really?" He said almost disappointed.
Disappointed?
I was the definition of disappointed when I found out he had been cheating on me for 3 months, 3 freaking months and I didn't even notice. Maybe I was actually dumb.
"How would you know that?" I questioned not wanting to reveal my secret just yet. Seth is actually a nice guy, he doesn't deserve to be punished for what Justin did, but then I remembered Justin was a nice guy when I met him. They're are all the same, two-headed snakes.
If hurting Seth is the only way to hurt Justin, then so be it, he isn't exactly innocent anyway.
"What are you plotting princess?" Justin inquired glaring down at me. I raised my chin in the air proudly and shoved him off me. "Wouldn't you like to know." I scoffed and walked out of the class, making sure to sway my hips slightly. I'm just fresh like that, yeah...
I walked out of the class and noticed Kristine in a crowd of people I don't know, she gave me a knowing look.
She probably saw when he entered the class. Gee, thanks for the warning cousin, you really are the best. Not the sarcasm. I smirked at her and continued down the hallway to my AP English class, just as the bell rang.
Well...shit.

School ended an hour ago and I've been doing my history homework sine then but I still wasn't done. The work really was a lot, I have only gone halfway and I've been doing it for an hour now.
I sighed and ran a hand through my hair, Kristine laughed as she threw a chip in her mouth, she's been laughing since I started doing this work, I've been ignoring her since, but even I don't know how long I'll be able to do that.
I heard a 'ping' sound and Kristine picked up her phone and began smiling at the screen. "Who's that?" I asked and she just waved me off changing into a cropped hoodie. I sat up on my bed as I saw her putting on shoes.
"He said I should meet him at the park." She answered walking towards the door. "Who?" But she was already out the door before she could answer my question.
Looks like everyone's getting a guy. *sighs* Too bad for my lonely ass.
I looked back at the ton of homework in front of me, I take that back...
My lonely and lazy ass.
