chapter 19

March 28th, 2041

LEXI'S P.O.V.

"Okay everybody! We are pulling up, everyone get ready! Don't shoot Joseph on accident! Lexi, you are staying back with Logan until we get inside and then you will get in with him protecting you. Everyone ready?!"

I nodded my head as Logan and I stood next to each other in the back with few more people who were there for medical help and also if we need reinforcement.

Everyone got out and ran out as Joseph opened us gates from the inside.

Apparently, Joseph is not in front of basement but near front doors.

Someone informed that we could go in, so Logan and I sprinted inside of house.

Knowing where the basement is, because we got the whole house plan, I ran through the house with lots of shooting around me.

I saw a bullet go right in front of my eyes and go straight in the wall as someone missed me.

Joseph handed me the keys as he ran next to me to protect me while I ran down the stairs.

I tried unlocking doors as I heard someone running down the stairs.

Just as I ran inside and locked the metal doors, someone started banging.

They couldn't try shooting because doors were bullet proof. The bitch thought about everything so he wouldn't run away.

"Jaden?!" I called his name as I tried searching for lights.

From here you couldn't even hear any sounds from upstairs.

"Yes! Fuck!" Someone moaned out as I was still searching for the lights.

I know that fucking voice. Madison.

"Mm yes!"

I finally managed to turn on the lights so I would know where I am going.

And that's when I saw him.

My heart beat increased as my hands started shaking even more.

He was obviously unconscious, laying underneath her and she was trying to reach her orgasm. That's just disgusting. That's raping.

Guess I'll have to ruin it for her. Sorry not sorry.

I pulled her by her hair off of him so she fell down on the floor, but her hair was still in my hands. Eeh, those extensions weren't really good.

She yelped as I got on top of her.

"Long time no see, bitch." I smirked as I wrapped my hand around her throat.

"You see me? Good, because my face is the last thing you will ever see."
"Lex?" I heard Jaden's faint voice behind me.

Tears started forming in my eyes as I couldn't believe this moment would happen.

"Baby?" I turned around as jumped up to the bed only to notice him being cuffed to the walls.

"Baby?" I asked as I cupped his face, "I'm taking you home, you just can't fall asleep."
"Lex, watch out." He warned me before I turned around only to see that bitch behind me holding a knife.

I grabbed her wrist and tried taking the knife out of her grip as we fell on the floor again.

We started fighting before i managed to take my pocket taser out and put it right on her neck.

I punched her face multiple times, only getting a little piece of anger from my body out.

I got up and took my gun. I looked down at her as she was laying unconscious, before wanting to pull the trigger but Jaden's voice stopped me.

"Don't you dare. Don't kill her." He barely had a voice, but I still heard him.

His words made my heart break into million pieces.

I turned around as I lowered my gun a little.

"Give me that gun, Lex."
"What-"
"Do it." I handed him the gun as he was sitting up on the bed only a little.

He pointed the gun as I shut my eyes closed, but didn't feel anything. I turned around to see that three bullets went through her body.

"You said you'll never commit a murder, so I won't let you." He said as he gave me a small smile before his head fell on the side.

I can't believe I even thought for a second he would point a gun at me. It's all because of the damn dream last night.

"No, Jaden! You gotta stay with me! You gotta stay awake!" I slapped his face few times, but he didn't wake up.

I tried breaking the cuffs, but, of course, nothing worked.

Then I walked to her lifeless body where I found a hairpin. I unlocked Jaden's handcuff before trying to wake him up again.

"Jaden. Please, wake up. Please wake up baby we gotta go." I begged as I tried everything to wake him up. I could barely see from tears that were falling down my face.

Someone started banging on the doors again. There's two options. I open the doors and we both get killed by her people. Or, I open the doors and it's my people that are going to help me with Jaden and to get him safe out of here.

I quickly prayed before unlocking the doors.

"Is he there?!" Nick's voice echoed before they rushed in.

They picked up Jaden before we all hurried out of house to the van.

Taylor helped me get in before they closed the doors and both van's drove off.

I started sobbing as I kneeled next to Jaden's body as they laid him on a prepared bed.

I put my head in crook of his neck as I held onto him while crying.

My baby is back. The man who I fell in love with is back. I can't fucking believe it.

Doctor did something that made Jaden wake up, but he was obviously still high. I don't think he knows that this was reality.

I don't even know how he managed to say those words in the basement.

He just looked at me before pulling me back in his embrace.

"I'll make it one day to you guys. I promise." He whispered as he held on my head while I just cried more.

He probably thinks he is imagining stuff as he is high.
