chapter 43

April 20th, 2041

3RD PERSON

Lexi and Jaden walked out, due the therapist asking them to leave Josie and him alone to talk in private.

They sat on the chairs and waited in silence.

"Jaden," Jaden looked up at Lexi, waiting for her to continue, "We need to move."
"I know." Jaden sighed, his shoulders dropping down.

It was obvious they couldn't stay in LA, because their life here is fucked up. Everyone thinks that Jaden is still dead, and if they were to explain what happened, they'd need to tell names and then if they find out about Lewis' mafia, they will find out about Hossler's too. And it would just get them all into a big trouble.

"It's been weeks, and I don't want you living in a house for the rest of your life. We need to go somewhere far away."
"I know, I know."
"What are we going to do?"
"I don't know. We are fucked anyway."

Lexi snuggled into Jaden's side and rested her head on his shoulder while he held her hand and kissed her head.

"We will sort everything out. The only thing important is that we are all together again and nothing can separate us."
"Do you think kids will be mad?" Jaden asked, his heart race speeding up.

It was obvious that they wouldn't like the fact of moving away. They have friends here, Michael just started dating his first girlfriend. They wouldn't be happy about it, but if that meant that they would live like a normal family again, they wouldn't complain much.

"Maybe. But not too much. Actually, they wouldn't be mad at us, just sad that they have to move away from everyone."
"Yeah, I know. But again-"
"It's not your fault Jaden. Trust me. We will get through this."

Once they finished with therapist, they got back in the car, now Jaden was sitting in drivers seat.

"So baby?" Jaden asked as he turned on the engine.

"He is really nice and understanding. I mean, I don't know him but still."
"I'm glad you feel like you can open up to him." Lexi smiled as she looked back at Josie.
"Yeah."

"We are back!" They yelled as they walked in the house before Jaden made his way up the stairs.

Knocking on doors before walking in, he opened the doors of Michael's room.

His eyes widened as he saw Celia was there as her face was flushed and she was breathing heavily.

"Oh, sorry for interrupting, I didn't know Celia is here."
"You didn't interrupt anything." Michael said, obviously lying as Jaden nodded his head before leaving the room.

He shook his head as he walked back downstairs.

"I think I just ruined their moment." Jaden said as he tried not to laugh when he walked up to Lexi.

"Who's moment?"
"Celia is over. I didn't know, so I just quickly knocked before walking in. She was all flushed and breathing heavily, so I left as quickly as it was possible."

Both of them bursted out laughing, before Jaden picked her up and set her on the kitchen counter.

"Imagine if they weren't dressed. I don't think we'd see Celia ever again, nor that Michael would ever walk out of his room."
"I know, but I wouldn't walk in if I knew she was over."
"Thank God you were living alone in the house when we met."
"Yeah, but Addison was cockblocking on the beginning. I'll never forgive her that."

Lexi bursted out laughing as Jaden chuckled.

"I love you." Jaden said as he held his hands on Lexi's thighs.
"I love you." She cupped his face before leaning in and kissing him.

"Spain." Jaden said as they pulled away, looking straight in Lexi's eyes.

"What?"
"You heard me."
"You talking about moving away?" Lexi narrowed her eyebrows as she ran her hands through Jaden's hair.

Jaden nodded his head, making Lexi's eyes widen.

"You're just gonna throw that on me now? Withou-"
"I wasn't throwing it out. It was a suggestion. I think we could live there great. And, you know, it was always our dream, wasn't it?"
"Y-Yeah. It was. But- We need to think about it more and talk to Bryce and you know, and look for place and a lot of stuff."
"I know. I know that baby. I didn't say we're moving away tomorrow. It was just a suggestion of mine. That didn't mean you can't say your suggestion and then we figure out which is the best for us."
"Okay. We will talk about it more, just not now."
"Okay."

Lexi hopped off the counter and kissed Jaden again, before opening the fridge and taking out some food.

"What are we making?"
"Food."
"No shit, I thought we'd make telephone."
"Haha, funny."

Lexi and Jaden gave each other sarcastic looks, just as Mason walked inside.

"I'm going to wait for Paeka outside, Josie and I invited her over."
"Oh, okay."
