chapter 35

April 12th, 2041

JADEN'S P.O.V.

"Dad, can you come up in my room?" Michael asked as he walked in the living room.

"Yeah. I'll be up in a second."
"Okay." He ran back upstairs. I paused the TV and made my way to his room.

I walked in without knocking, knowing that he is the one that told me to come here.

"Hey buddy, what's up?"
"This shit's finna be awkward but I need a serious talk." I nodded my head as I closed the doors and walked over to his bed.

"What is so serious? Don't tell me you used heroin." He slightly laughed, shaking his head.

"No, it's not that."
"Then what is it?"
"But in advance, I'm not telling you the name."
"Okay. What is it?"
"Look. I asked a girl out. Like few weeks ago,"
"Ooo. Is that a first girlfriend?"
"Well, kind of. We've been flirting for quite a while now. And I really like her. Like, genuinely, I don't think I liked someone like I like her."
"That's so nice. I'm happy for you buddy."
"Yeah, but listen. I don't wanna come off wrong, but like, you as a man are supposed to help me."
"With?"
"She's a virgin."
"Oh. Is that a bad thing to you?"
"No. I mean, it's just that, now that Josie sneaked on me yesterday, you know my body count. And I've only been with one V, and it was when I lost mine so it was not good in any way."
"Oh. So you're trying to ask me what you're supposed to do?"
"Yes. Exactly." His face was bright red color as we talked.

Five fucking years I imagined this time to come. Not really this exact talk, but me having a serious talk with my sons and them asking me for help. I've actually waited since they've been born. It's only because I never had a dad talk. I mean, my dad talked to me, but I wasn't yet comfortable to talk to him since we didn't know each other for long. And then I was already 20 when I was first time with a girl who never had sex before, so I obviously wouldn't talk to my dad about it.

"Well, first and most important thing is that you make sure she is comfortable with doing it. If she isn't and you fucking press her or make her feel like she has to do it so you don't cheat on her, I will chop off your buddy." His eyes widened as he set his hands in the air in defence.

"I wasn't planning onto raping anyone dad, chill out."
"I know, I just need to remind you. As a girl, it will hurt her, so you gotta do a lot of foreplay. Also, every girl reacts different, but it's okay if she bleeds a little. If she bleeds a lot, then it's either her period or she needs to go to the hospital. But that most likely won't happen to you. Maybe she doesn't even bleed, it depends."
"Foreplay, as if I go, like, you know, until the end or just like...?"
"Don't make her finish. But, I'd recommend you if she never ever did anything with anyone, you only, you know, pleasure her, because she obviously never experienced it and was never touched by anyone. And then a different time, you do foreplay and then you just go slow."
"But like, do I go all the way or no?"
"Well, personally have been with only one girl that didn't have sexual experience before me. And I was older than you, so I couldn't ask my dad. I mean, I could've, but it would be much different than this talk we are having right now. So I had to make it on my own how it works, and I didn't go all the way, but slowly went like half in, like, painfully slowly. Because to you it feels nothing, but to her it's much different. And then you let her adjust to you, and you just ask her if she wants you to go deeper. It's also normal if she wants to stop in the middle of it if it hurts. It might take few times  for her to stop feeling pain, or maybe she doesn't even feel it. I don't know why is it that way, but all women are built differently and experience it differently. So the key is foreplay, go slow and communicate. Even though it might be awkward a little, you need to communicate to know how she is feeling. Because she will most likely be scared to tell you what she wants, because she never experienced it before."
"What am I supposed to communicate about? Horses?" He asked frustrated as I chuckled at him.

"Well no, but like ask her multiple times if she wants to stop, and if she feels like she could take you going deeper or faster or something. And most important thing, you need to ask multiple times for consent. And every time you ask you have to make sure that she sounds like she is 100% sure in it. If you feel like she is not 100% comfortable, just don't do it and let her take time."
"Yeah, I kinda already knew about consent."
"Yeah. And her first time isn't supposed to be you trying to make yourself finish, but to be about her and how she feels about it. And she probably won't finish the first time."
"Yeah. But am I like supposed to touch her too? I'll be honest I had to read on the internet few weeks ago before you were even back. Because I couldn't ask mom all this. I mean, we had multiple talks about sex, but you know."
"You should ask your mom too, because, like, she's a woman so she'd know how it feels. But I don't think she'd tell you much more than I told her."
"How do you know? Oh, wait, you were mom's first?"
"Yeah."
"Okay, then you have to give me your advices."
"What advices?"
"Well I could be wrong, but I'm guessing you're the only one mom has ever slept with. That means you know what you're doing if she never wanted anyone else beside you."

I bursted into laughter, laying down on the bed.

"You're one funny kid."
"I know. Also, I was just kidding, I don't wanna know your advices because that would mean I know what you and mom were doing. So, don't tell me."
"Don't worry, you, being Jaden Hossler's son, can't be bad when it comes to sex."

Now he was laughing with me too. I'm glad we have a more friendship relationship than like a parent-child relationship. And I know Lexi has it too. It's been like that since they were young.

I've always hated strict parents. I know I haven't been there for five years, but even before, we always had really opened relationships and we knew everything about each other, because that's what Lexi and I wanted.

Because it's either we are their best friends, or they keep everything away from us. And we made sure to choose the first option, before they were even born.

That's why this talk wasn't that awkward, only a little on the beginning before he got comfortable to talk about sex with me. And it's not a taboo topic, so we shouldn't act like it is.

"Okay, now tell me what you're going to do."
"First, you said to give her he- I mean pleasure her." He quickly remarked as he realized what he was about to say, making me chuckle, "Make sure she doesn't feel like she needs to do it back. Then other time, when things get heated I ask her for consent multiple times and make sure she actually wants to do it. First foreplay and then I go slow and make sure to ask her what she wants me to do. And that's it."
"Yeah. Basically that's it. And also, as a distraction, but I'm sure you know that, you touch and kiss her and that's all."
"Yeah."
"And also, I don't know how you act towards girls, but be all sweet and make sure to tell her that you like the way that she looks. Because girls get self-conscious really easily, especially being naked in front of someone for the first time. And afterwards, make sure that you are the one to clean her up. Because, you know, gentleman stuff." Both of us giggled as I said the last part, before he nodded his head.

"Also, again, I don't know how you act towards girls, but make sure that she knows she doesn't need to shave every time you have sex. And if you ever told that to a girl before, I'll literally murder you."
"I don't say anything."
"If you expect them to be shaved everywhere every time you gotta do it too."
"I know. Mom told me that hundreds of times."
"I know she did, but I need to tell you too."
"Okay. Thank you dad."
"Which condoms you use?"
"Huh?"
"Show me the package. I wanna see if you use good ones."
"Oh."

He got up and walked to his closet before coming back.

"Okay. If you ever come to a situation and you don't have them, call me and I'll get you. I'm too young to become a grandpa, okay?" I laughed, making him laugh to as he tucked it under his mattress.
