chapter 37

April 12th, 2041

JADEN'S P.O.V.

After a good time of talking in Michael's room, we went down the stairs to see where Josie and Mason are so we can order pizza for dinner.

My mom left today. I had a feeling like she had a argument with Lexi because they didn't talk at all since yesterday, and that's probably the reason she left.

I love my mom so much, but she was crossing the line past week from being too much in all of our businesses.

So I just told her we'll see each other soon enough. I want little time alone with my own family.

"Oh, they're in gym." Michael yelled from the glass doors, making Lexi and I go out behind him.

"Yo, fitness guru's, you want a pizza for dinner?"
"Sure."
"Okayy."
"Okay, I'll go order. When will you be done?"
"In literally ten minutes."
"Okay."

God, I need to get back to working out. That fucking bitch- wait. I've never asked Lexi what happened to her. How the fuck am I realizing that just now?!

"Lex!" I ran after her, pulling her with me in the kitchen, so Michael can't hear us.

"What's up?"
"I need to ask you something."
"Well, just do it."
"What happened with Madison?"
"Which Madison?" She asked, not looking up from the phone.

"Madison that fucking did everything."
"Ohh, why are you asking?"
"You first answer my question and I'll answer yours."
"Oh, nothing, we got rid of her."
"Rid of her?!" I whisper yelled. What the fuck is she keeping away from me?!

"Lex you can't keep those things away from me. Tell me you didn't fucking kill her."
"Why do you need to hear that?"
"Because you told me once 20 years ago you could never be able to kill anyone. Not even your worst enemy. Don't tell me you broke that just because of me." She sighed, looking finally at me and locking her phone.

"Pizza will be here soon. Look, it's nothing you need to worry about. She is gone for good. Doesn't matter who did it."
"Yes it fucking does if you did it."
"I didn't, 'kay? I was about to, but I didn't."
"Why?"
"Because Nick's guys banged on the doors and I opened them. She was previously unconscious because I beat her up so they got her."
"You never told me what happened that day."
"Nor I'm gonna do now. Okay? We'll talk when we are alone. And when I say that I don't fucking mean it tonight, alright? Because we were having a great today and we're not gonna ruin it."
"You're no fair."
"I know. But it's not time for that. There was too many things dropped on you for the last week or two, so let that all settle, and then we unlock another bad memory. Yeah?"
"Ugh, but just promise me you didn't do it."
"I promise you I was only about to do it, but I didn't end up because I was stopped from doing it. Okay?"
"Okay." She cupped my face and kissed me. I placed my hands on her waist as I pulled her a little closer.

My hands slowly trailed down to the small of her back and placed themselves on her ass.

I felt her smile through the kiss. This is the first time I did that since we've met again.

I just couldn't even think about sexual things at all. There was too much for me to process, but I feel like I'm a little better with all the informations I got.

"Guys, I really think this is enough now, I tried to walk in the kitchen 10 minutes ago. And now our pizza is here. Just pull away, kiss later." Josie said as she walled in the kitchen. Goddamn.

We weren't even kissing. We did kiss for quite a few minutes, but last ten minutes we've been just stood in same pose, my hands on her ass and her hands cupping my face, but my forehead was only resting on her while our eyes were closed. Or at least my were.

"We aren't even kissing." Lexi said as she pulled her head away from mine and probably looked at Josie behind us.

"Yeah, but dad's hands are too low on your body. Now, just go and give money to Alfred."
"God, fucking pizza." Lexi walked away and greabbed her wallet, before she went out of house.

"Dad? Are you good?" By closure from Josie's voice I knew she was stood in front of me.

My eyes were still closed. I don't know what was happening to me right now, I just couldn't bring myself to open my eyes.

I was just stuck in a fucking moment.

"Dad? Dad?" She started shaking me with both her hands on my shoulders, making me finally snap out of- well, whatever that was.

"What happened?"
"I, uh, I don't know. I just got stuck in a moment."
"What moment?"
"I don't know. With your momma."
"Are you feeling okay?"
"Yeah, I'm great actually." I pulled her in a hug, making her hug me back tight.

"C'mon, what you guys wanna drink?"
"Michael wants coke. I want diet coke. Mason wants lemonade. What do you want?"
"Coke too."
"Okay. Momma gets coke too. Oh, wait, she gets lemonade."
"Still doesn't drink soda?"
"Yeah."

I helped her bring all that to living room, along with ketchup.

Just as we set everything on the table, Lexi walked inside of the house.

"Here comes pizza."
"Woohoo."
"Do I play it?"
"What are we watching?"
"Some movie."
"Oh."
"It's criminal one."

We ate as we watched the movie, and then not long after we ate I had Josie and Lexi on each side of me, Mason and Michael joining on the both side of them.
