chapter 29

April 2nd, 2041

3RD PERSON

"Don't worry, I'll be there soon." Lexi tried to calm down Bryce who was nearly yelling at her through the phone.

"Lex how can I not worry?! You were supposed to be here an hour ago and you're telling me that you're not still in front of fucking gates?!"
"Don't fucking yell at me. I can't fucking control traffic. Just shut up and wait, I'll be there very soon."
"Goddammit."

Lexi hung up on Bryce, before speeding up to get as fast as possible to the house.

"Fuck, how much he pisses me of."
"Calm down. You won't need to listen to him much longer. Now I'll be here to punch him for you." Lexi smiled at Jaden while he kissed her hand.

"Babe?"
"Gimme your hand," Lexi said as she interwined her and Jaden's hands. He was shaking as he felt too anxious about going back home, "Everything's gonna be alright. When I take kids out and turn to look at the car then you get out. Alright?"
"Alright. Alright."

Lexi cupped his cheeks as she pressed her forehead against his.

"We made it baby. We made it."
They both smiled from ear to ear as Jaden already cried and Lexi tried to hold back her tears.

"Okay, I'm going in." She kissed Jaden before opening her doors and getting out of the car.

"Mom, c'mon, where were you?! We were supposed to be there 45 minutes ago."
"Calm down. I need y'all to stay here for few minutes and kids to go out alone with me. Without any of you looking through the windows."
"Lexi there is no time for your surprise now-"
"You shut the fuck up. C'mon guys."

Everyone started complaining about Lexi making a scene, but not knowing what she had prepared for them.

"Okay, sit here while I tell you something." Lexi said once they made it down the stairs of their house. They sat down as they waited for their mom to talk.

"Okay. I'll need you to try as calmed as you can, without bombarding with questions. I know I haven't been here for you guys for so long, but I have an explanation for that. I recieved an email, that I didn't know whether to believe of not. Then, not too long after that I got one more message. Finally, two weeks ago we found out a real location, and when I went on the 'trip' for your surprise, I was on a mission of getting him back-"
"Getting who back?" Mason asked, making Lexi look behind her at the car.

Jaden groaned as he tried to calm down his anxiety that was making his body want to explode.

His heart felt like it would come out of his chest, while he dug his nails into his palms so he would stop his hands from shaking.

But nothing worked. He was just too nervous for meeting everyone again.

He was constantly looking back at the house to see when will Lexi come out.

Seeing three kids walk behind her out of house and sit on the steps in front the house, his heart started beating at the pace he didn't think it was possible to beat.

He felt as if he would vomit from anxiety, and just then he saw Lexi turn around.

His shaky hand reached to open the doors, before he stepped out the car.

"Yo, I don't know what's wrong with my headache but I see dad."
"I see him too." Mason added as they stared at Jaden.

Josie realized by the look on Lexi's face that it's actually Jaden, so she was first one to get up and run to him.

Her arms went around his neck, so he pulled her up to wrap herself around him.

Jaden was already crying, but now Josie joined him.

"Daddy"
"H-i baby"

Mason and Michael ran together to Jaden, wrapping their arms around him.

Jaden wrapped his arms around them, but made sure that Josie won't fall down.

Neither of them would let go as they all cried.

Lexi soon joined them in hug, and that's when it all settled down again. Their complete family is back together. And now no one will separate them.

"Where are they now?!"
"Okay, calm down guys. There is obviously a very valid reason for all of this." Eva tried calming everyone down, as she was the only person besides Jackson who wasn't throwing a tantrum inside of the house.

"There's no fucking way that this is reality." Michael sobbed as they all pulled away.

Neither of three kids believed that their dad is back, while Jaden couldn't believe that he is back home with people he loves.

He still had a feeling like he is dreaming.

"My babies. Let me see you guys. Goddamn you grew so much." He separately hugged Michael, Mason and then Josie.

"Thank you so much mom." Mason hugged Lexi as tight as he could, and they soon made a group hug again.

"Are we gonna call them out? Before they all take out my eyes?" They all nodded, so Lexi walked away, leaving them four alone.

"Can you guys come out?" She asked, catching everyone's attention.

"For fuck's sake."
"Why are you crying?" Addison asked, making Lexi shake her head as she lead them outside of the house.

"What the fuck?" Addison was first one to start running to Jaden.

He spun her around as he lifted her off the ground.

"There's no way."
"Is that-"
"There's a way. Believe in what you see."

Jaden and Addison pulled away as she cupped his face, not believing that it's actually him, before pulling him in a hug again.

They pulled away so Amy could hug him.

She sobbed in the crook of his neck as she couldn't believe her eyes. None of them believed their eyes. They just thought that it's impossible for Jaden to stand right in front of them when he 'died' five years ago.

"My little boy." Amy kissed his cheek as they still held tight onto each other.

"I love you so much momma." He mumbled as he sniffled in her shoulder.

Next ones to hug Jaden were Eva and Jackson, and then Bryce. Even Bryce cried.

"What the hell?" Addison asked as she was still looking at Jaden with a shocked look on her face.

"Let's go inside so we could all sit."
"I feel like I'll pass out."
"Me too. Let's get inside faster." Jaden reassured Josie as she grabbed his hand and didn't let go.

Mason side hugged Jaden as they walked.

It was too big shock for everyone. Their anxiety levels were too big the moment that they saw each other.
