chapter 30

April 2nd, 2041

3RD PERSON

Everyone took a seat on the couches, letting Jaden be the one that is in middle of one, with Josie on his lap and Mason and Michael on either side of him.

"H-how is this possible?"
"Well, I received an email. It was a video of Jaden. And that lead me to go and do biopsy again," I said as I glanced to Bryce, "Then we searched for a month but we had no clue what to do, so then few weeks ago I got another email. We finally managed to find a guy who sent it and realized which mafia was doing all of that. Once we got a guy into their mafia, he got a location where Jaden is being held and then when it was a turn for that guy to be the one of the guards in that house we jumped in and got Jaden out."
"Wait, who is we?" Amy asked as she sniffled and wiped away her tears.

"And who was the one who kidnapped him?"
"Clark, our guy. And then I asked Nick for help."
"Why didn't you tell us? Bryce, Josh and Blake could've helped you." Addison asked as she looked at Jaden who had his eyes closed while he hugged his kids.

He was just enjoying his moment of being able to be around all of them again.

"It was just mine decision. You know, if mission didn't work out, I didn't want to fuck up all of our mindsets."

Eva and Jackson moved to sit on the couch next to Mason and Michael, so they all hugged.

Jaden couldn't help but let few tears go down his face. He was just so happy and felt so safe. In embrace of all kids.

Lexi then remembered how Jaden told her in car that he was very thirsty, so she got up and went to kitchen to get him a water bottle.

"Lex," Bryce said as he walked in the kitchen, "Look, I'm very sorry. For all the words I said to you. I was so mean to you, and you had a valid reason to do all of that. I'm truly sorry."
He said with an apologetic look on his face. He actually felt really bad for everything he told her out of anger.

"It's fine. Your reasons were valid too."
"Yeah, but I still should've talked to you first." He opened his arms to hug her, which she accepted, wrapping her arms around him.

"So who was it?"
"Fucking Madison."
"Madison?"
"Lewis." Bryce's jaw fell open in shock. He didn't believe what he had just heard. Crazy ex kidnapped Jaden.

"What the fuck?"
"Mhm. But she's dead now. But war is guaranteed, just so you know. So I expect that you help Nick when it comes to that point."
"Yes. Of course." Lexi left the kitchen, leaving Bryce there, still in shock from what Lexi told him.

"Jae, I brought you a water bottle." Lexi said as she ran her hand through Jaden's hair.

He opened his eyes and brought one of his hands to pick up the opened water bottle from Lexi's hands.

"Thank you love."
"Of course."

When Jaden was done, Josie took the bottle from his hands so the could drink some too.

Lee ran inside of the house, scaring Jaden as he almost jumped up from the couch when he felt something on his leg.

"What the-"
"Lee, calm down."
"Who's this guy?" Jaden asked as dog jumped up on his lap, making him bring down one hand to pat him.

"That's Lee. That's dog that you and momma were supposed to get us."
"Oh. Hey buddy."

"Maybe we should go to theater room? Watch a movie? There's more space."
"Yeah, I think too." They all got up, and then it clicked in Josie's head.

"I'm next to dad!"
"Me too!" Mason and Michael yelled at the same time, making both of them glare at each other.

"Okay, Josie can be on my lap again and you two on my sides."

"I know a good movie." Eva stated as she walked over to set up a movie on the screen.

Everyone took their chairs, Josie getting comfortable on Jaden's lap, as Mason and Michael laid beside.

Josie kissed Jaden's cheek, setting her head in crook of his neck.

Eva laid next to Lexi and got comfortable as they started watching the movie.
