Movies and tv shows always show married couples drifting slightly out of love. Like something changes after the wedding day. The husband and wife normally get sick of each other and bicker in every scene. Bucky and I are nothing like that. We are still as in love as we were a year ago, when we said our vows. I still get butterflies when he looks at me a certain way, or when he plays with my hair. He still tells me I'm beautiful every chance he gets. We still live at the compound, with our big family of super humans. He's tried to get us to move out a few times but I told him I'm not ready to go quite yet. I couldn't go days without seeing Sam or having a drink with Nat. Life at the compound was what I was used to, but it had gotten pretty slow. No immediate threats to the planet meant our days were pretty simple. Wake up, train, eat, spend time together, bedtime, repeat. We hadn't heard from Thor or Loki which in my mind meant they were no problems. That was until the one night. Things got weird, really weird.
