I Missed You

"What are you doing here?" Reaching up I hugged Chris tightly, not thinking about who may see us. When I pulled back to look at him, his smile was beaming, and apparently he didn't care who else could see either as he kissed me, then pulled back just enough to speak.

"I thought I'd surprise my girl." That was all he said before he gave me another kiss. I pulled away again to look into his face. It was still hard to take in the fact that he was my boyfriend and he was here. I'm not even sure which one was more difficult to process at the moment. I must have been staring too long because he spoke up again with his deep chuckle. "You okay that I came here?"

"Silly question, I just can't believe you actually are here. How are you here?"

"We finished early and I moved a few things around so I have time to..... well, I have time to do whatever you want to do, wherever you want to go. If you want me tagging along with you, that is."

"As if that's even a question. I mean, I would be fine just staying here or going to visit my family or yours or even going back to my house or yours, as long as we do it together if you have the time off."

"Good, because that sounds so normal to me and I think I need some normalcy after all this work."

"Since we're already here, do you wanna stay for a while? It's really beautiful here and we kind of have our own tour guide too."

I expected Chris to say he wanted to go somewhere else but he didn't. "Like I said, wherever you wanna be, I'm happy, as long as I get to be with you. Plus, I messaged Hemmy in case we do decide to stick around here and let him know I would hit him up since he doesn't live far. He texted back and happens to be home right now too."

Smiling, I reached up for a kiss but pulled back at the last minute, looking around. Chris pulled me in tighter though, bringing his forehead to mine before speaking. "It's okay. Security is pretty tight, in here anyway. I really could care less about people seeing us at this point though but I want to protect you. It can get ugly and people cross privacy boundaries way too much. So, we will be careful outside of here, but I'm not gonna keep you at arms length either just because someone may be hiding in a bush with a camera."

Chris and I had talked about this in length during multiple FaceTime calls. We weren't going to go public officially but if pictures leaked then so be it. We would try to keep things to a minimum in public but weren't going to hide because he did have a life outside of his job.

Leaning down, Chris pressed his lips to mine again. It was slow and sweet. Nothing big because we were not alone by a long shot. This wasn't just a few people even though they were going to be snapping pics. It was definitely not worthy of a make out session no matter how long we had been apart. Coming back up, pressing his forehead back to mine, he smiled just as I felt an extra pair of hands on my waist from behind.

"Can I cut in now?"

Twirling around, I was about to give whoever it was a definite answer of no until his voice registered to me and  I saw that huge, beaming smile. "SCOTTY!"

I reached up and wrapped my arms around his neck as he laughed and answered my exclamation. "You really didn't expect him to travel all by himself to another country did you? Plus, I missed you too."

Scott placed me back down after giving me one of those wonderfully tight hugs he is famous for. Before both of my feet had hit the floor, I felt Chris' hands back on my waist from behind. "Are you staying with us and hanging out for a while?"

"Well, it was kind of a long distance that I travelled to see you, ya know? But I guess as long as it's okay with you..."

"You're kidding right? Of course I want you around."
