I looked up from Calvin's shoulder and saw Henry coming toward us quickly as he mouthed his words. 'Go, I'm right behind you. Hurry.'
I told Calvin what he said and that I could walk. He let me down and I tried to take my bag from him but he wouldn't let me.
I hadn't turned my phone back on since last night after texting my parents and Calvin, not wanting any more surprises. Once we landed, I used Calvin's phone to let my family know I was safe and was going to keep my phone off for a bit. They knew they could contact Calvin if they needed to get in touch with me.
We didn't do much after we got settled in. The time difference and long flight caught up faster than I expected even though I had slept. We lounged around the suite and ordered food, watching some television and just talking. The suite Henry was staying in was really nice. The living room had two sofas that were so comfortable that I fell asleep while we were watching a movie. It helped that I was tucked into the crook of Calvin's arm that was resting behind me.
The dream about Chris is what woke me up and I jolted up a little. Looking around, I didn't see him though. This is when I remembered where I was and what had happened as Calvin brought me back in to hug me. "Hey mate, I got you. It's just a dream. You're safe."
Looking up at him, I felt the tears start to pool in my eyes before I laid my head back down. After collecting my thoughts I asked the guys about getting out of the suite and we did just that. Luckily, Henry's hotel had private beach access and cabanas for anonymity.
Sitting on the beach with Henry and Calvin, I left my phone back in my room, still turned off. After about an hour of swimming and relaxing in the sun, I went to get a drink. When I came back, I noticed Henry texting and that is not like him. Usually, if he was hanging out with me, he was rarely on his phone. He told me once, that he likes to stay in the real world when he is around actual people. Deciding his behavior continued being odd for longer than I was comfortable with, I questioned him.
"Everything okay?"
He popped his head up at my question. "Huh? Oh yeah. Everything's good."
"I've never seen you on your phone this long. Are you sure?"
Henry glanced at Calvin before looking back at me before his eyebrows raised and he took a deep breath followed by a smile. "Yep." That's when his phone rang. "Excuse me a moment. I need to take this."
With that, Henry stood and pulled his hat down some more as he walked down the beach while he was on his phone. Calvin offered up his thoughts. "Maybe it's work related."
"Maybe. Maybe not. I've never seen him act like this though."
Calvin's phone alerted him to a text. He opened up the message before he spoke. "That's odd, it's Tommy."
Okay, now I was getting worried. Tommy texting Calvin, and I was still wondering who called Henry? Did something happen back home? "What does he want?"
"To know if I know where you are."
"What are you? My secretary? Don't answer him. I didn't tell anyone where I was going."
"Well mate, you don't need to now, Tommy just sent me this."
Calvin turned his phone to me. There was a link to an article on a gossip site. There was a picture of Henry at the airport with a girl. A girl with her hair in her face, pulled down enough that nobody could see her face or puffy eyes. I've never been more glad that I didn't put a ponytail in and let my hair become a tangled mess until now. There was a small caption.
