After all the pictures and interviews for the cast involved, we were ushered into the cinema. Since this was the first screening and it was in L.A., there were extra venues for overflow viewing. This was due to the amount of people invited for press and publicity along with guests of the people involved in the project. It all depended on who the person was and the reason they were there. Lisa and the rest of Chris' family decided they were going to come to the premiere on the east coast instead of this one.
Scott and I went wherever Chris did obviously, but at first we were separated. We were shown to our seats, while Chris and Henry were taken to a separate room. They were going to come out with the studio executives, producers, directors and other cast members to introduce the movie.
I couldn't help but look around the room while I waited in my seat. I kept tapping Scott's shoulder everytime I recognized someone. He laughed every time I got giddy, and eventually I decided it was time for me to just turn back around before everyone thought Chris Evans' girlfriend had a problem. Just when I thought I was settling down the best I could, I felt a breeze behind me and felt someone brush up between my head and Scott's, placing his head at the empty seat between us. When I turned to look, Sebastian Stan's face was level with mine, just about twelve short inches away. He had a huge smile plastered on his beautiful face as she spoke.
"Looks like I scored a seat near to you guys."
He made me giggle, it was unnerving just how handsome this man was. The lights blinked a few times letting everyone know to get to their seats. People began being introduced and then out walked my boyfriend. It literally began to feel like a dream. How the hell did I get here? Once Chris reached his mark on the stage, he looked immediately to the seats he knew we would be in. I could tell when his eyes adjusted, because his whole expression changed the minute he saw me. He smiled wide and gave me a wink before pulling his hand from his pocket to give me a small wave.
Sebastian leaned back up to speak directly to me. "Okay, I've never seen Chris act like that in public."
Scott leaned back. "Well, you definitely need to come hangout when he gets home. It's a whole new ballgame these days. My girl here has him wrapped around her finger more than she realizes."
Looking at both men, I shushed them, smiling and returning my gaze to my man on the stage who was about to talk. The microphone was being passed along as everyone was introducing themself, as if people wouldn't already know anyway. Henry spoke up, charming as ever. Then Chris talked, not for long though. Once everyone up there said something, they were all excused to make their way to the seats.
Chris finally joined us and was very anxious. His hands were sweating as he was wiping them down his pants. I kissed his cheek, before whispering in his ear. "Good job. You okay?"
"Yeah, I'll be better after I watch it. For the next ones, we can just wait elsewhere while everyone else watches it."
Chris laid his hand on my knee and squeezed it before turning his palm up and wiggling his fingers as a hint for me to hold it. Gladly, I intertwined my fingers with his before Seb leaned forward and patted Chris on his shoulder in a silent gesture. Henry made his way to his seat which oddly enough was beside me. I patted his knee as a reassurance that I just knew the two of them had done a great job on this.
As we sat and watched the movie, I found myself gasping too many times. It amused the men on each side of me. They had never really said what their roles were in the movie so to see them beating the shit out of each other, it wasn't easy to watch. I realize makeup does a great job of making it look real, but that thought didn't make it any easier. Henry was chasing Chris throughout the whole movie so there were tiny brawls here and there but the fight at the end of the movie had me letting go of Chris' hand and covering my face.
