Let's Do This

We snuck into a movie a few nights after landing in LA. Chris didn't want to go to the premiere and take away from the movie since it would be a big thing if Captain America showed up. We decided to pick a late night movie and since it had been out for a little while we were hoping this worked. Pulling out a few things I had brought like my grandpa's hats, I sat the guys down and disguised them. No Patriots or Red Sox gear, or NASA. Nothing they were usually seen in. I never understood why they would always wear things that people recognized if they wanted to fly under the radar.

I ordered a few other items of clothing and had it delivered so we could do things just like this. Once I was satisfied that they didn't look as recognizable, we began our drive to the theatre. I even ordered Chris a special shirt. Who would suspect Captain America to go to the movies in a different character's Marvel shirt? Chris found it funny so he had us take a picture of him with it on so he could post it once we got home.

Chris had been getting up early to do his workouts and run in the morning, mostly before I woke up. The day before we were starting the promo, I woke to find Chris' side of the bed empty, but a small gift sat on his pillow along with a letter. It was a tiny box and the letter said 'OPEN ME FIRST' so I did.

My eyes filled with tears as I realized I had brought my hand up to my chest as I read his words
