*Hey guys, I'm so sorry I haven't updated. I've been very busy with school, and when school ended I had work so I've been unable to do much except work and sleep. This is a bit of a short chapter, but here it is.*

Evangeline POV:

After Elijah had chased after Klaus, leaving me alone with these lunatic witches and the trampy werewolf mother-to-be I practically ran after him to get away from them. There wasn't a possible thing on earth that would be important enough for me to spend another second of time listening to their insanity, but when I arrived outside the mausoleum they had lured us into Elijah had long since disappeared. It's not like he would have spoken to me anyways, he was mad at me.

I leaned against the stone wall of another crypt like thing and slid to the ground. "Why do I have to be such a screw up?" I asked myself, looking up towards the sky. "I snapped Damon's neck, I stole his phone, lied to Elijah, almost killed someone, almost slept with Klaus, and now I'm sitting alone in the creepiest cemetery I've seen since I went to the Paris catacombs. I should see a therapist, or five. Maybe some family therapy."

"Ah, who am I kidding?" I spoke after thinking about it for a second. "Damon would eat the therapist, not that they could really help anyways. No therapist would ever be able to understand our family drama, let alone solve it. What would we even say? 'We are here because of over a century of family feuding, my hatred of their doppelgänger girlfriend, their hatred of my like of Original Vampires, a few snapped necks, domestic violence, and Stefan's bunny diet'? Somehow I don't really see a therapist reacting very well to that."

I quickly shook my head in an attempt to bring myself back to the real world when I realized I was sitting alone in a cemetery talking to myself. Talk about crazy. Suddenly Damon's phone began to ring from my pocket, causing me to jump from shock. I slid the phone form my pocket and glanced at the caller ID; Elijah. Staring at it for a few seconds I listening to it ring before I answered the call, I thought about denying it but something could be wrong.

Evangeline: Elijah, why are you calling Damon's phone?

Elijah: You destroyed your new phone, how else was I supposed to contact you? Messenger bird?

Evangeline: How do you know I destroyed my phone?

Elijah: Because I know you, but I didn't call you to discuss your habits. I called to discuss Niklaus.

Evangeline: What happened?

Elijah: Can you meet me?

-

I walked into the fancy looking hotel lobby and immediately spotted Elijah sitting on one of the white leather couches situated in the room. His back was to me but I could tell it was him from the odd straightness of his posture. Like there was a wooden board nailed to his back making him sit extremely straight. That was Elijah posture, nobody else sat that way. And plus, he was the only person aside from me in the lobby. There wasn't even a receptionist.

"What's wrong with Klaus?" I asked as I took a seat on the couch across from him. "If it's about that Hayley woman then I'm really not in the mood, that woman and those witches were obviously dropped a few too many times on their heads."

Elijah looked at me for a couple seconds before leaning forward, placing his elbows on his knees. "You need to have an open mind, Evangeline."

"Why should I? They've obviously casted some witchy spell on you to make you believe this insane story of theirs."

Elijah gave me a pointed look. "You know a majority of vampires think it's insane that a vampire your age has Original Vampire friends, some vampires think the idea of Original Vampires is completely ludicrous."
