So I procrastinated watching the final few episodes of The Originals for the LONGEST time after they killed Hayley cause my little fangirl heart couldn't take the pain of anyone else dying. I cried for like two weeks after Hayley died, and I'm pretty sure I watched that scene like ten million times.
Finally this past week I mustered up the willpower to watch the last episodes of The Originals and can I just say.. What. The. FUCK?!?! First of all I'll mention there were some good things, like Freya got married, which was well deserved on her part, I'm very happy for her. But then Julie Plec decides to TVD my ass and kill off all the characters I love once again.
First of all, she killed off Josh and while he did find peace and will be happy with Aiden I still cried for like three hours straight and couldn't continue watching for another couple days while I mourned. Finally after many tears for both Hayley and Josh, I got around to watching the final episode and let me just say this, I cried way more than I did watching the final season of TVD. I thought maybe after all these years of suffering the Mikaelsons would finally get to live happily ever after, although once Hayley died I definitely started losing hope in that idea. Kind of ironic considering the cause of all my pain and suffering this season has been Hope, I honestly never thought I could hate a character more than I hated Elena, but I was proven wrong.
Hope caused the deaths of two of my favorite TVD universe characters of all time and for the dumbest possible reason, honestly if I could I would've absorbed the evil magic just so Elijah and Klaus could live on.
Then after all this heartbreak and sadness.... BAM! Julie Plec hits us with yet another spinoff based solely around the very cause of all my misery. Honestly if she was just going to continue on in the TVD universe I don't know why Elijah and Klaus had to die. If Julie Plec was a better planner and didn't do all this time jumping that she has been doing in TO then the show could've continued on for a few more seasons, but instead of thinking ahead she rushed the entire thing and what do we get from it? Hayley is dead, Josh is dead, Klaus is dead, and Elijah is dead. I wouldn't be surprised if in her new show she kills off the rest of TO's and TVD's cast the way she's going.
Moral of the story: This isn't Game of Thrones, stop killing off all the main characters.
