JOSH's POV

I woke up at exactly 6AM.

May konting jetlag pa pero I need to be at the office before 8AM. I'll be replacing Mr. Gomez as the new President. To be honest, hesitant akong tanggapin ang offer at first, pero since na-miss ko na din ang Pinas kaya gnrab ko na, and besides I'm in for a new challenge sa career ko.

Medyo pressured ako kasi nasabi nila sakin na ako ang pinakabatang President sa history ng company but at the same time I feel proud kasi at my age madami na ko na-accomplish sa career ko.

I arrived at exactly 7:45AM. Ambilis lang pala ng biyahe, sana palaging ganito. Dumiretso ako ng Admin's office as instructed. May kailangan ata akong i-meet dun.

Everything is going smoothly... Then something happened.As I was about to enter the elevator di ko sinasadyang natabig ko yung coffee na hawak-hawak nung isang employee, the coffee spilled all over her blouse. Yare ka Josh.

I was shocked. Di ako nakagalaw for few seconds then I was about to say sorry and hand over ung panyo na nasa bulsa ko nagalit siya't sinigawan ako. Galit na galit. I said sorry pero galit talaga siya, di ko makakalimutan sinabi niyang "NAWA'Y DI NA MAGKRUS ANG LANDAS NATIN AT BAKA SA SUSUNOD DI NA KITA MA-TANTYA".

She's a fierce one. First time may magtaray sakin ng ganun sa office. She's kinda cute though, Sana makita ko siya ulit ng makapag sorry ako ng maayos sa kanya.

Magsa-start na ang meeting and as they were about to introduce me, I couldn't help but to notice yung isang employee na nakaupo sa may pinakadulo, left side. She looks familiar.Natapos ang pagpapakilala ko with the whole team then Mel suddenly asked everyone to introduce themselves. Pina-start niya dun sa employee na kanina ko pa pinagmamasdan.

As she stood up, I realized bakit parang familiar siya. Siya yung nakabungguan ko sa elevator. Yung natapunan ng coffee. I'm glad nakapag palit siya ng damit. I understand why she can't look at me ng diretso but di ko naman intensyon na ipahiya siya.

Jia Cassidy Dela Cruz. Nice name.

"Thank you Ms. Dela Cruz, I'm sorry if nag-krus na naman ang landas natin pero I'm looking forward to work with you" - sabi ko. Kainis bat ko ba nasabi yun. Mukha tuloy siyang nainis.

Natapos ang meeting and back to reality... WORK. First day pa lang andami ng tasks na dapat tapusin, back to back calls with the clients, paperworks that needs to be signed. I'm currently speaking with a client over the phone ng may pumasok na isang employee and kinailangan ko siyang i-stop sa kung ano man sinasabi niya kasi it's an important conversation with the client.

I hang up the phone and as I was about to say sorry dun sa employee -- it's HER!

"Oh hi Ms. Dela Cruz" - bati ko sa kanya. Iwas pa rin siya, she's avoiding eye contact. Then she handed me over some papers na need ko daw pirmahan for approval. After niya binigay yung mga papers mabilis siya tumalikod. "Addie... Right?" - I said. Bigla siya humarap and she asked if may kailangan pa ko, sinabi ko na I'll try not to cross her path pero I don't think that's possible kase nga we're under the same department ng biglang ---

"Look Mr. Josh Cullen, if you think na magsosorry ako sa mga sinabi ko sayo sa elevator, ASA KA! And wag mong gamitin yang pagiging Boss mo sa pag-powertrip mo saken ah .. kung pahihirapan mo buhay ko dito e bukas na bukas din I'll have my resignation letter at your desk!" - she said. The she walked out.

I was speechless. Wow! Didn't see that coming.
