Chapter 21

Mina's pov

I'm in the middle of the class now but I couldn't seem to concentrate. Do you know that? Even if you want to listen you just can't seem to concentrate. I just want this class to end.

After one of the worst hours of my life, I went straight to the school garden to have some fresh air. You can say it is my favorite place since it is peaceful there. I was enjoying the fresh air when someone suddenly startled me.

"Boo!" My heart seriously jumped from the sudden voice.

"Seriously, this is the second time you almost give me a heart attack. You are really the death of me Chaeyoung." I put my hand on my chest to calm my heart down.

"I knew you will be here." She chuckled and went beside me.

"How are your classes. Oh well let me guess, you didn't listen."

"Wow, Mina you really know me!"

"Why don't you try to listen just for once in your life?"

"I'm always listening but not just on lectures. I'm hungry come on let's eat!" Chaeyoung grabbed my hand and drag me to the cafeteria. I looked like her luggage at this moment.

Chaeyoung went to buy some food with Momo while I am seating with our friends. After 10 minutes, they arrived with a lot of food. Of course, if it is Momo who will buy foods, it will surely be a ton.

Tzuyu: "Seems like you hadn't eaten for 1 week."

Momo: "What do you mean? This is still not enough for me." Momo put the food on the table and sat down. Chaeyoung then joined.

While we were eating, the speakers went on and the speaker announced something.

"Hello, good morning students. As you all know, we celebrate family day every year. I want to inform you that family day will be held this Friday. Please inform your family and encourage them to spend the family day with you. Thank you and good morning."

Nayeon: "ugh I hate events like this."

Sana: "Really hate it. I would be glad if there will be a price of money."

I don't have any interest in any events that involve family. Why? Because no one will come with me. I'm sick of these events.

Jeongyeon: "Are you guys going?"

All of us shook our heads. My friends always participate in events like this but I guess they are sick of them too.

Nayeon: "Hey I have a plan."

Tzuyu: "Oh gosh that sounds bad."

Nayeon: "It's not bad! Let us go to the amusement park on Friday since we aren't going to family day."

Chaeyoung: "Oh I like that!"

Momo: "I'm in."

I was so happy knowing that I'll be spending the family day with my friends. I usually spend the family day alone in my apartment. My friends and classmates will be in school celebrating family day with their families, while I am left alone in my apartment because I don't have anyone to come with.

I don't have to be alone or think that I don't have a family because I have them. They are my family. We are a family. I'm so lucky to have them that's why I care for them a lot. They are the best blessing I ever had.

I smiled at the sight of my friends laughing together.

What did I do to deserve all of you?

School ended...

I'm leaving school now with Chaeyoung. Our friends went home already.

"Mina do you want to come to our house? Mom will be glad to see you."

"Should I?.... well we don't have that much school work so I can probably go."

"Yes! Let's have a sleepover too!" Chaeyoung jumped out of excitement. She's so cute.

"Are you this happy about me going to your house?"

"Yes, it's been a long time since we've been there you know. Come on let's go!" Again she dragged me like a suitcase.

"Hey hey calm down my arms hurt. We can just walk."

"Sorry hehehe." She stopped dragging me and clung to my arms instead.
