Third pov

Mina was preparing to meet Jihyo. Yesterday, when Jihyo confessed, Mina felt pain in her heart. It hurts seeing her best friend cry because of her.

Is this how Chaeyoung felt when I confessed to her?

Mina thought.

She finished preparing and went down to look for her mom. While she was looking for her mom, she found some strange boxes in the living room behind the fridge.

"This looks familiar." After some thinking, she finally remembered where she saw those boxes.

"So it was you who had been sending me those every day when I was in my apartment?" Mina smiled.

Yes, it was her mother who had been sending her boxes with foods, medicines, and other stuff to her apartment.

She went outside and saw her mom in the garden.

"Mina?"

"I'll be meeting my friend today."

"Okay, drive safely."

"Thank you, mom."

"Hmm? What for?"

"For everything," Mina said and hugged her mom before leaving.

Her mom was left there smiling from ear to ear. She felt so happy that her daughter called her "mom" and appreciated all the things she did for her.

Mina was waiting for Jihyo in her car. She didn't know where they will go because it is all up to Jihyo.

After 15 minutes, Jihyo arrived. She knocked on the car window, and Mina opened the door for her.

"You're late." Mina said.

"I'm not, you're just early." Both of them chuckled.

"Get out there, I'll drive." Jihyo said.

"Hmm? Why? I can drive." Mina replied.

"I will lead this day, so I will drive."

"Pshhh, fine." Mina got out of the car and went to the passenger's seat while Jihyo went to the driver's seat.

"Where are we going?" Mina asked.

"Too excited? Just wait." Jihyo chuckled and started driving.

While Jihyo was driving, she got shocked when Mina took her right hand.

"Do you need anything?" Jihyo asked.

"I just want to hold your hand. Why? Can't I? We are girlfriends for today, so why not?" Jihyo smiled at what Mina said and intertwined their fingers.

"I didn't say I don't want to."

"Yah, focus on driving." Mina scolded Jihyo.

"Yes, ma'am."

After the 1-hour drive, they arrived at an amusement park.

"Mina, let's -" Jihyo couldn't continue her words when she saw Mina sleeping while still holding her hand.

"You're so beautiful." Jihyo caressed Mina's face. With that, Mina woke up.

"Are we here now?" Mina asked as she rubbed her eyes. Jihyo hummed as a response.

They went out of the car and entered the amusement park.

"Didn't know you will take me here." Mina chuckled.

"Let's go!" Jihyo took Mina's hand and dragged her inside.

"I'm warning you, Jihyo. I don't want to ride scary rides."
