Third pov

Chaeyoung walked home with a heavy heart. One could tell that she looked like a lifeless person walking on the road. She didn't know where to go but just kept on walking. Her feet somehow brought her to Nayeon's house.

Nayeon came outside to throw the trash when she saw Chaeyoung approaching.

"Chaeyoung?" Nayeon called.

Chaeyoung didn't respond but just kept on walking.

Chaeyoung couldn't see anything but darkness. She couldn't hear anything. She couldn't feel anything.

Chaeyoung didn't even notice that she was in front of Nayeon's house. Nayeon noticed something is wrong with Chaeyoung.

"Chaeyoung," Nayeon called once again when Chaeyoung had reached her house, but Chaeyoung just kept walking.

"Yah!" Nayeon grabbed Chaeyoung's hand.

"What's wrong with you? Why do you look like that?" Nayeon said in a worried tone.

She looked at the younger one, who just looked at her with pain visible in her eyes. Chaeyoung was about to walk again, but Nayeon dragged her inside.

All of them were actually at Nayeon's house because they wanted to have dinner together, except for Mina and Chaeyoung.

"Chaeyoung?" Dahyun called as soon as Nayeon entered the house while holding Chaeyoung's hand. The others averted their eyes to Chaeyoung. They got worried when they saw Chaeyoung, so they came up to her.

Jeongyeon: "What happened to you?

"Tzuyu: "Why are you like that?"

Her friends kept on asking her what happened to her, but Chaeyoung just kept silent. She looked tired, very tired to the point she just want everything to be over.

After minutes of waiting for Chaeyoung's answer, Chaeyoung finally spoke.

"I just lost the very special person in my life." Chaeyoung said with no emotion.

Her friends understood what Chaeyoung meant immediately.

"Mina... confessed to me... but after that... she left me." Chaeyoung said, and her tears had started to form in her eyes.

Chaeyoung's response shocked Jihyo the most.

If Mina confessed and Chaeyoung was in this state, then Mina is in a bad state as well. That's what Jihyo thought immediately.

"Where's Mina?" Jihyo questioned Chaeyoung. Chaeyoung didn't answer but continued looking far away.

"Tell me where's Mina!" Jihyo raised her voice that made their friends flinch.

Nayeon: "Jihyo, what the heck? Calm down. You are making Chaeyoung's state worse."

Momo: "Why do you have to yell at her? It's clear that Mina didn't say to her where she would go."

Sana: "Jihyo, just calm down first."

"Calm down? How can I calm down when I don't know where Mina is?!"

Jeongyeon: "What's wrong with you? Can't you see Chaeyoung's state?"

"Chaeyoung Chaeyoung Chaeyoung! Why is it always Chaeyoung?! Don't you care for Mina too? She's in a more painful state than Chaeyoung!"

Nayeon: "It's not like that..."

"Then what?! All of you here are there for Chaeyoung at this moment. How about Mina? Do you think someone is there for her right now?"

Their friends couldn't say a word about what Jihyo said.

"See? None of you can answer because what I am saying is true. All of you are always there for Chaeyoung. But Mina? Mina has no one. The person who should be making her happy broke her heart. So don't tell me to calm down because I won't calm down until I know where Mina is, and she's alright!" Jihyo grabbed her things and was about to step out when Nayeon spoke.

"Why do you act like that? Why do you care so much for Mina?" Nayeon asked her.

Jihyo turned around, and her answer shocked everyone.

"Because I love her."

Jihyo looked at Chaeyoung, who was shocked by what she said.

"I love her not just as a best friend."

With that, Chaeyoung walked closer to Jihyo.

"You love Mina? Are you saying all this time, you love her?" Chaeyoung asked.

"Yes, I do. I love her. I love her even before she started loving you." At this point, Jihyo's tears fell.

"I fucking love her so much! I love her so much that I am willing to sacrifice my own happiness just to make her happy! Now you know? Are you happy now?!" Jihyo shouted at Chaeyoung.

"Jihyo please-" Sana said but was interrupted by Jihyo.

"What? You will defend Chaeyoung again? Go, defend her, isn't that what you always do? Being always there for Chaeyoung, but not realizing that one of us is suffering more than her. You don't know Mina. You don't know what she was capable of doing because even just for once, you didn't hold her when she broke down." Jihyo looked at Chaeyoung and said all the things she had been keeping in her heart.

"Even you, the one Mina loves, wasn't there for her. Do you know who was always there for her? It was me. I was always there for her. I was there to comfort her. I was there to hold her whenever she broke down mostly because of you."

"I was always there for her, but you know what hurts? Is that she still looks for you even I am already in front of her." Jihyo fell down and held her chest.

It was very painful, and she couldn't take it anymore.

"Never in my life did I ask Mina to love me back because I already accepted the fact that she won't return my feelings. Whenever I wish, I wished for something that would hurt me... and that is for you and Mina to live happily together till the end. I never wished for Mina and me to be together, but I always wished for you and her to be together because I knew, you are the only one who can make her happy."

"I'm not enough. My love for her isn't enough to make her happy. There is only one thing I want, and that is for Mina to be happy." Jihyo wiped her tears and stood up with the strength she had left.

"I'm asking you a favor Chaeyoung. Please, return Mina's feelings. Make her happy. Because that is what she deserves. I'm not the person who can give her that. It is you, the one she loves. Please grant my wish, Chaeyoung...
