Chapter 10

Third pov

Mina and Chaeyoung went to the cafeteria where there friends were.

Sana: "What took you guys so long? Someone here is dying out of hunger already."

Momo then slammed her hand on the table and glared at Mina and Chaeyoung.

Mina: "If you are that hungry then why didn't you eat already?"

Momo: "How can I when Jihyo said to wait for the both of you?! Seat now so we can eat gosh I'm so hungry. If I starve to death this all your fault."

Mina and Chaeyoung then sat beside each other. Mina started preparing Chaeyoung's food. She put scrambled eggs, pancake, and strawberries on Chaeyoung's plate.

Mina knows very well what Chaeyoung wants to eat and whenever they will eat together Mina is the one who serve food for Chaeyoung. Chaeyoung is already used to this that's why when they eat, all she needs to do is sit down and wait for Mina.

Jeongyeon: "What are you doing Chaeyoung? Don't you want to eat?"

Chaeyoung shook her head and just wait for Mina.

Mina: "Here's your food baby. Eat a lot okay so you can grow taller."

Chaeyoung: "Yah!" Chaeyoung pouted like a child that made Mina chuckle.

Mina: "I'm just kidding. I like the way you are already." Chaeyoung smiled as a response to Mina and continue eating her food.

They are now eating with Jeongyeon feeding Nayeon, Sana giving a drink to Dahyun, Jihyo glaring at the two couples, Momo scooping food every second, Tzuyu eating her food quietly, and Mina wiping some dirt on Chaeyoung's mouth.

Jihyo: "You have hands for a purpose." Jihyo said looking at Nayeon and Dahyun

Nayeon: "Yeah and our girlfriends have hands for a purpose and that is to feed us, right Jeongyeon-ah?"

Jeongyeon: "hmm now eat this."

Sana: "Do you want me to find someone for you JIhyo?"

Jihyo: "You already set me up to 5 people yet here I am still single so no thanks, you don't pick people well tsss."

30 minutes before sports day starts...

Chaeyoung's pov

We are now sitting on our respective seats since sports day is about to start. Momo and Sana went to the canteen to buy some foods.

I'm really nervous right now for Mina. I looked over where she was and she seemed uneasy. I know she is nervous too so I grabbed my phone and call her.

"Hey are you okay?"

"Yeah just a little nervous. I want to win for our class."

"It's fine you can do it! Whether you win or not you are still the best for me."

"Where are you? I want to see you."

"I'm here at the lower row."

I then saw her look around. When she finally found me, she smiled at me.

"Now that I saw you, I found peace."

"Well I'm really glad to do that."

"I better get ready now, I'm the next player."

"hmmm you can do it! I'll cheer for you. Hwaiting!!!"

"thanks cub"

The way she said "cub" made my heart flutter out of the sudden.

The game is now starting. The students cheered loudly when Mina enters the field. She looks so gorgeous.

"MINA HWAITING!!!" My friends cheered in unison

"MINA LET'S WIN SO I CAN EAT JOKBAL!!!!" Yeah I don't have to tell you who shouted that cause it is so obvious.

"MINA YOU'RE THE BEST FOR ME NO MATTER WHAT!!! HWAITING!!!!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs so Mina can hear me. Luckily she did. She looked over to me and gave me the most beautiful smile I have ever known. I then smiled and nodded at her.

We are now watching Mina playing. She have been doing great so far. She missed hitting a few balls but she is still 5 points ahead of her opponent.

It is now 38 - 39. The game is really intense. If Mina will score this she will win this game.

"MINA YOU CAN DO IT!"

"MINA HWAITING!"

"MINA MINA MINA MINA"

The cheers grows louder as the game is really intense right now. The referee blowed his whistle. Mina started preparing and then she served the ball. The opponent managed to received and returned it. Mina did the same. The game is growing more intense right now as they kept on returning the fast serves to each other.

Mina did one powerful serve and at that, the opponent missed the ball. The crowd went silent for a few seconds. When the referee blowed his whistle indicating that Mina scored, the crowd went crazy and so as me.

"WOOOOOOO!!"

"MINA WON!!!"

"MINA! MINA! MINA!"

Me and my friends looked at each other and then stood up and started jumping up and down cause of happiness.

"Our Mina won!!"

"Finally I can eat my jokbal!"

I then looked at Mina. She seemed shocked that she won. I smiled at her then run towards her.

She smiled seeing me running towards her. She opened her arms waiting for me to dive in. As soon as I went to her, I hugged her tightly. I think I ran too fast cause when I suddenly hugged her, we almost fell down but gratefully, Mina was strong enough to hold me.

"I'm so proud of you. You did it." She hugged me tightly as a response

"I did great because you were cheering for me. I won't be able to do it if it wasn't for you."

I looked up to her while I'm still in her embrace. She has a warm smile in her face.

"Thank you Chaeng." She planted a soft kiss on my forehead and hugged me again.

Time seemed to stop at this moment. I can't see and feel anything but her. I don't care about what is happening on my surroundings right now. The only thing that matter is the person in front of me. I don't know why am I feeling like this, but all I know is I feel safe with her and that....

This moment is ours.
