Chapter 24

Mina's pov

I woke up from the sound of my alarm. I grabbed my phone and turned the alarm off. After 5 minutes of debating whether I should get up or not, I checked my phone if there are some important notifications. I looked at the day and today is Friday. Yes, Friday is family day.

I sighed and got up to get ready. Instead of attending the family day, I and my friends decided to go to an amusement park. That's what we talked about days ago.

I took a shower and got dressed. After I did my hair and make-up, I texted my friends.

Mina: "Are you guys awake now?"

Jeongyeon: "Yeah, I and Nayeon are about to go."

Sana: "Still preparing."

Momo: "Still eating."

Dahyun: "I'm about to go to Sana's house to pick her up."

Jihyo: "On my way already with Chaeyoung and Tzuyu."

Mina: "Okay see you."

After texting them, I grabbed my bag and car keys and went outside. But as I open the door, I saw a box in my front door. I've been receiving these kinds of boxes every day these days. I don't know who are they from.

I grabbed the box and put it on the table then went off. The way to the amusement park is calm. Just me and the sound of my car. It is still early in the morning so there aren't that many cars.

As I was driving, I thought of how it felt like to attend a family day. It is something I always want to experience but unfortunately, I don't have any family to come with.

I want this day to be full of smiles so I just set those thoughts aside and focused on being happy even just for today.

After 30 minutes, I arrived at the amusement park. I walked to the entrance where we are suppose to meet. Jihyo, Chaeyoung, Tzuyu, Nayeon, and Jeongyeon are already there.

"Look Mina's here already." I heard Jihyo screamed.

Chaeyoung set her sight on me and ran. She looks like a 5-year-old kid running with her arms open to hug her mother. She then reached me and hugged me. Of course, I hugged her back.

"Miss me that much?" I smiled at her as she released from the hug,

"No, now let's go." She grabbed my hand and dragged me to where the girls are.

"Where are the others?" I asked as soon as I arrived to where they are.

"They are almost here." Jihyo replied and I nodded as a response.

After 10 minutes, Dahyun, Sana, and Momo arrived. They were so excited so as soon as they arrived, we bought tickets and went inside.

"Omg! It's been a long time since we've been here!." Nayeon squealed and ran around.

"Hey calm your girlfriend down Jeongyeon." Jihyo chuckled at Jeongyeon who sighed and went to Nayeon who is still running around.

"So what ride do you guys want to try first?" Momo asked us.

"Anything that is not high." I replied because I know these girls are very adventurous.

"Okay then let us ride the roller coaster." Jihyo said that made my eyes widened.

"Are you crazy? No there is no way I will try that ride." I shook my head and Momo did the same too.

"You guys are no fun. Come one it will be fun!" Nayeon dragged me and Momo to the roller coaster. No way! I'm not going to ride that!

I'm really nervous right now just by seeing the ride going up and down. I looked at Momo and she looks anxious too. I then felt a hand held mine. I saw Chaeyoung smiling at me while holding my hand.

"Don't worry, I'll be with you. No need to worry cause I'm here. I'll hold your hand till the end of the ride." Somehow those words of her calmed me down. I nodded and smiled at her.

It is now our turn to ride. I took a deep breath and got on the ride. Chaeyoung held my hand as soon as we are settled.

"I'm scared." I can feel my heart beating really fast right now because of nervousness.

"Don't worry it'll be fun. Just hold onto me." Chaeyoung said softly to me and held my hands tighter. She really knows how to make me calm.

After a few seconds, the ride started. The first part of the ride is fine so I thought this is not that bad after all. But as I was just enjoying the ride, we dropped from the top to bottom. I screamed my lungs out. I was screaming until the end of the ride. After the ride, I felt like I left my soul somewhere out there. I was sitting there completely drained from all of the screaming. We got off the ride one by one.

"That was awesome!" Sana screamed as soon as she got off.

"But I guess it is a wrong choice to ride that first. Look at those three over there." Jeongyeon pointed at me, Momo, and Dahyun. We looked dead at the moment.

They all laughed at us but we don't have the energy to complain. They let us rest for a while in the food court while they went riding different rides.

"I seriously thought I'm gonna die out there." Momo said as she sat down.

"I would prefer failing a test than riding that." Dahyun followed Momo.

"Gosh where the hell did my soul went?" I relaxed myself as I sat down.

We took a rest for a good of 30 minutes. Momo ate to recharge her energy while Dahyun slept. I used the time to play some games to calm me down while waiting for the girls.
