Chapter 50

Third pov

Nayeon entered the room again after accompanying Mina, who went home because her mom had been worrying about her.

"How is Mina?" Sana asked.

"Of course, she's not okay. She must've been shocked by what's happening." Nayeon sighed and walked towards Chaeyoung.

All of them sighed and looked at their friend, who is laying down on the bed.

"Do you guys think she'll be fine now that Mina is here already?" Sana asked.

"I don't know. Chaeyoung might just push Mina away since she might think that she doesn't deserve Mina." Dahyun went over to Sana and hugged her. Sana closed her eyes, feeling calm in Dahyun's arms.

They had been really tired these past weeks because of the things happening at the same time.

Nayeon went over to Jeongyeon and asked to be held since she felt sleepy too.

"Why don't you guys go home now? I'll look after Chaeyoung until her parents arrive." Jeongyeon suggested as she took Nayeon in her arms.

"I think we'll do that. Update us about Chaeyoung." Tzuyu said and grabbed her things, and the same goes with the others.

"Hey, go with them for now. I'll go to you when Chaeyoung's parents arrive." Jeongyeon smiled at Nayeon and kissed her forehead. Nayeon smiled and nodded at her before going with the others.

Jeongyeon grabbed a chair and sat beside the bed of Chaeyoung.

"Chae, wake up now and get better. We have to catch up on many things. I miss being with you..."

After a few moments, Chaeyoung's parents arrived.

"Thank you for looking after Chaeyoung." Chaeyoung's mom said to Jeongyeon.

"It's nothing, aunty. We are always here for her no matter what happens." Jeongyeon stood up and smiled.

"We'll visit her again tomorrow, aunty. I'll go-"

"Do you know... what happened between Mina and Chaeyoung?"

"Ahh..."

"I'm just wondering since it's been months since I last saw them together, and it seems like Chaeyoung's condition has to do something with Mina."

"I think it will be better if you hear it from Mina. But when you talk to Mina... I hope you will understand her."

"Don't worry, I will always understand that girl. She's like my second daughter, and I know, she has her reasons."

"Thank you, aunty. I'll get going now." Chaeyoung's parents nodded at her, and she went out to go to Nayeon's house.

Chaeyoung fluttered her eyes open.

As she completely opened her eyes, she saw her mother sleeping beside her while sitting on a chair beside her bed and with her head on the bed.

"Mom..."

Her mom slowly opened her eyes when she heard the voice she was longing to hear for the past days.

"Chaeyoung?" She stood up and went over to hug Chaeyoung immediately.

"Thank goodness you're okay." Her mom said as she cry.

"I'm sorry, mom." Chaeyoung hugged her back. She missed her mom too. She missed hugging her and being her baby.

"Why are you saying sorry?" Her mom asked her softly as she pulled away.
