Chapter 13

Mina's pov

"I'm sorry..."

Did she realized?....

"I'm sorry for not realizing you were this hurt because of whoever that person is. I'm sorry for thinking that I know all of you. I'm sorry for not being by your side when you are suffering. I'm sorry because I failed to make you happy. I'm sorry-"

Chaeyoung was stopped because of her crying. She was crying her eyes out.

I thought you realized it already.

It hurts knowing that you can't return my feelings, but it hurts more seeing you like this.

"shhhh it's okay. It's not your fault. It's okay." I then hugged her tightly while soothing her back to calm her down. After some minutes, Chaeyoung calmed down.

"Are you okay now?" I broke the hug and wiped some of her visible tears with my thumb. She then nodded at me.

"Let's go home now." I held her hand and lead her to my car.

My friends were already on their way to Jihyo's house since we planned on having a sleepover at Jihyo's house. When I was hugging Chaeyoung, I signaled them to go first.

I took a few glance at Chaeyoung while driving. She seemed lost in her thoughts. I just sighed and focus on the road.

"Mina..." I felt Chaeyoung looked at me.

"hmmm?"

"Give me your hand." I was confused when she suddenly said that.

I took my right hand from the stirring wheel and gave it to her. What she did next surprised me.

She took my hand into hers. She held it tightly while looking at it.

"Is there a problem?" I asked her.

"Such a shame that the person who you have feelings to can't hold this hand. Why is that person such a fool?"

Yeah you are such a fool for saying that when you are already holding my hand.

"I know right, she is such a fool."

"Your hand is so soft. I want to keep holding it. Can I hold it until we get to Jihyo's house?"

"You can hold it whenever you want." I then interwined our fingers. I was shocked with my sudden action. I was about to let go but then I saw Chaeyoung smiling while looking at our hands. I smiled and focus on my driving while holding her hand.

The drive to Jihyo's house was quiet but it was comfortable. Holding her hand already speaks my love for her. Such a shame she can't hear it.

We are already near to Jihyo's house. I took a glance at her and found her sleeping already while holding my hand.

I stopped the car and looked at her. I tucked a strand of her hair and let my hand rest on her soft hair.

"I'm sorry for making you cry a while ago."

"I'm sorry.... for loving you."
