Chapter 22

Chaeyoung's pov

We are now in front of our house. We are waiting for my mom to get the door. After a few seconds, mom opened the door.

"Oh, my baby is here." Mom hugged me as soon as she opened the door.

"Hi aunty!" Mina said while smiling at us.

"Here's my other baby. Come here." Mom hugged Mina too. I smiled seeing them hugging each other. My mom is really close with Mina as much as I am.

"Come inside I'll prepare snacks for you." When we went inside, I noticed that our house did change while I was away. I don't have that much time to come here that's why.

"Chae bring Mina to your room. I'll bring you the snacks."

"Okay thank you, mom." I kissed my mom on the cheek and went to my bedroom with Mina. I jumped right after in my bed. I missed this bed.

"If you miss your bed that much you should've just stayed here." Mina chuckled and sat down on the couch.

"It will be hassle plus my apartment is near our school so it is better. What are you doing there? Join me here." I moved to the other side of the bed so Mina can lay down. She sat on the bed and I scoop closer to cuddle with her.

"You are really a baby do you know that?"

"You and mom keep calling me a baby." I pouted at her.

"Because you really are." My mom entered my room bringing some cookies and orange juice.

"Can you two stop teasing me just for once?" They both chuckled at me while I was just pouting there. I'm already an adult!

"You guys look so cute. You know Mina, she only cuddles with you. She doesn't want to cuddle with us."

"Really?" Mina looked at me while smirking.

"I got used to cuddling with you that's why!" I defended myself.

"Okay, we get it. Now eat these. I'll be in the office if you guys need anything."

"Thank you aunty." Mom nodded and went outside.

"Don't you want to eat? Why aren't you eating?"

"How are we going to eat if you are hugging me?" I realized I am still hugging her. I let go of the hug and enjoy the snack.

After eating the snack, we don't know what to do so we decided to just do our own things. Mina is playing games while I am drawing.

I started to get bored so I closed my sketchpad and went to Mina. I poked her arm a few times to get her attention but still, she is ignoring me.

"Mina Mina Mina Mina." I continuously poked her arm. She hummed as a response. Ugh I can't really get her attention when she is playing.

I really want to play with her but she's too busy with her games. I then thought of something. I removed her other hand that is holding her phone then sat on her lap. Our position is now her sort of hugging me from the back while holding her phone while I am sitting in her lap. She looked at me with a confused look then continued playing.

I am also watching her play but I think I am blocking her sight because she keeps glancing from side to side. That made me want to tease her.

I purposely block the sight of her game and whenever she will look from the side I will also move to the side.

"Stop it or I will throw you." She sounds serious.

"Stop playing games now and just play with me."

"Fine, I'll just finish this." She continued playing while I was just leaning my back against her while waiting.

Mina's pov

It took me longer than I have expected on this game. I really did try to finish it since Chaeyoung kept on whining at me. When I finished my game, I put my phone down and saw a sleeping cub sitting on my lap while hugging me.

She fell asleep while waiting for me. I carefully lay her down and tuck her in the bed. I leaned and planted a soft kiss on her forehead. I went down since it is nearly dinner time and I know aunty cooks around this time.

I went downstairs and saw aunty cooking.

"Aunty let me help you." I went to her and grabbed an apron.

"Thank you. By the way where's Chaeyoung?"

"She fell asleep." She nodded and we started cooking. I chopped the vegetables and prepared the ingredients aunty will be using.
