It was a freak accident. You went on a trip with your mom to California and the plane had crashed on the way home. There weren't any survivors. The only thing they found of you was the necklace Diego gave you for your anniversary. He just sat on the porch of your mom's house, holding your necklace for hours.
Ben went with him so he wouldn't be alone and just sat there and tried to comfort him as best he could.
"H-How do I...I-I can't do this alone..."

Your ex had broken the protection order and broke into your home. Luther didn't get there in time and found you dead. Allison went with him to help but just stood watching him hold you. The police were on their way. He was just holding you and rocking you.
Allison was trying to get him to leave but he wasn't having it.

He couldn't save you from the end of the world. When he jumped too far, something went wrong and it ended up killing you. He just froze, staring at your lifeless body. It was his fault you died. He couldn't cry, he couldn't scream, he was just numb. The pain was so intense.
His siblings just watched him slowly start to hyperventilate.

He didn't think something like this could happen to him, but it did. You were killed in a car accident and he was called in to identify your body. He could hardly look at you or the medical examiner in the face. He didn't know if he wanted to cry or scream.
Klaus went with him for support and felt useless as he watched his brother go through it.

He relasped after you died on the mission. He didn't want you to go but you insisted. You ended up getting caught in the crossfire and killed. It took him two weeks before he allowed Diego to tie him up to get sober so he could see you again.
It took a day and a half but as soon as he was able to summon you, he was happy.
