You Meet the Family: Luther

"Luther! Calm down!" You urged your boyfriend as he rambled on about his family.

You had been dating for a month and a half and you wanted to meet his family. Luther was really hesitant about it, but you had convinced him to have them over to your apartment for lunch.

"Lock up valuables, money,-" Luther rambled.

"Jewlery, anything that can be pawned, I know I know. Calm down. Your family sounds wonderful. You're stressing too much." You said, kissing him softly on the lips.

"I just don't want to drive you awa-"

A knock on the door interrupted him and you went to the door. You opened it and saw the strangest looking bunch you'd ever seen. There was a buff guy, a really pretty girl, an awkward looking girl, a hippie gypsie looking guy, and a really young looking boy. You invited them inside.

"Make yourselves comfortable. Drinks are in the mini fridge and snacks are in the kitchen." You said, closing the door.

"I'm Allison. It's nice to finally meet you. Luther never shuts up about you." The pretty girl said, hugging you.

You giggled and Luther blushed.

"She's not kidding." The buff guy chimed in. "I'm Deigo, and he hurts you I'll kill him."

You looked at Luther who just rolled his eyes. You went into the kitchen and saw the hippie looking guy from earlier munching on some snacks with the younger boy and the awkward girl.

"These snacks are amazing. Who made them?" The girl asked.

"I did, I drabbled in chef school and there is what I could make without burning down the house." You joked.

The three grinned and the younger boy spoke up.

"I'm Five, it's a pleasure. That's Klaus and that's Vanya." The young boy said.

You smiled and grabbed more drinks and went back to the living area. After awhile, everyone but Allison and Klaus cleared out.

"Where'd ya meet?" Klaus asked.

"Park." You replied.

"Awwwww how romantic!" Allison gushed.

Then she started asking you a bunch of questions. Like your favorite color, favorite food, favorite hobbies, you know, girl stuff. Luther was starting to feel constricted so he went off to do whatever while you and Allison talked.

"He hasn't brought up the moon has he?" Klaus asked.

"Um...no?" You said, confused.

"You're the first person he hasn't brought it up to." Allison added.

A few hours later everyone had cleared out. You and Luther were cleaning up when he wrapped his arms around your waist.

"What'd you think?" He asked.

"I think that your family is wonderful. Why were you so nervous?" You asked.

"Because they can be terrible." He admitted.

"Babe, all families are terrible in their own ways. But it's what makes them family. I'd love to see them again."

He grinned at you and pecked your lips sweetly.
