the requests will be coming this week! for now, enjoy crackhead hargreeves and why the boys shouldn't be trusted with a child.

"Uncle Diego!!! Uncle Dieeeeegooooo!"

"Yes baby?"

"What does fuck mean?"

It wasn't uncommon for sisters to leave their children in the care of their brothers. It was good practice for when the men had kids of their own. If they were capable of not harming the child or putting the child in harms way, they should be fine. At least that's what Allison told herself.

She needed time to herself and wanted some bonding time with V. She called up Luther and he happily agreed to watch Claire. What Allison wasn't told was that Diego, Klaus, Ben, and Five were also going to be there. Claire was fine one on one with them, it's when you group them all together that she gets exposed to...things.

Klaus isn't allowed to watch her by himself because one time he took her to a male strip club, that was an experience to deal with. Diego taught her how to throw steak knives at cans outside in the yard, her preschool teacher was not impressed. Ben tried to teach her how to bake but Allison's oven really took a beating when Claire tried to by herself. Luther once attempted to teach her to ride a bike, the poor elderly lady never saw it coming. Five once tried to teach her to read and she left knowing how to say shit in almost every language, Allison wasn't impressed.

It wasn't like they were bad with Claire, they were actually really good with her, individually. This would be the first time they'd be watching her all together and Allison was nervous. Ben and Luther had the more parental instincts and were more intune with the kid appropriate activities. Diego and Klaus were the uncles who wanted to make everything fun. Five was the uncle who observed from a distance but weirdly knew everything about the kid.

"Claire! Where did you learn that?" Luther asked, nearly choking on his water.

"Where the fuck did you put my coffee cup, Klaus!? Five yelled from the kitchen.

"There it is." Diego mumbled.

Claire shuffled her feet, "Uncle Luthy, what does it mean?"

"It's something little girls shouldn't say, it's a naughty word." Luther replied, patting her head.

"So is uncle Fivey naughty?" She asked, her doe eyes looking at him.

"Very." Diego replied, standing up and marching to the kitchen.

Five didn't try to control his mouth around anyone, even Claire. Well, he did try more around Claire than other people, but it wasn't the best. She definitely picked up his insults and some of his mannerisms. The more time she spent alone with him, the more she started to become more sarcastic.

Ben and Luther definitely controlled their mouths better than any of them combined. Diego was better than Klaus and Five, but still not the greatest. Ben and Luther tried to teach her alternatives to swear words with more old timey talk like "oh rats!" and "son of a biscuit!" or the classic everyone loves "goodness me!"

Claire will always shrug when you ask her who her favorite uncle is, truth be told she doesn't have one. Surprisingly though, she does favor Five more than the rest of them. This is only because he dots on her silently and doesn't invade her privacy like the rest of them do. He gives her space but is also very involved.
