His hugs are never little side hugs or just one armed hugs. He'll wrap you up in his arms tightly and hold you like it's the last time. Usually it's after a mission or when you guys have a fight. He'll bury his face into your neck and grip your hair.

His hugs are usually very gentle. He's afraid to hurt you so he likes to let you initiate the hug. He'll usually kiss the top of your head and slowly wrap his arms around you. Sometimes he'll stroke your hair or lay his head on yours. He hugs you like you're made of glass.

He'll never admit it but he loves to be held. He's touch deprived and he'll have one of those days where he'll lay you down and lay his head on your chest. You'll stroke his hair as he rambles about what's bothering him. Other times he just wants to listen to your heartbeat or feel you close to him so he knows you're safe.

He'll do this randomly and it'll make you stop whatever it is you're doing. He'll rub your arms and lay his head on your shoulder. He'll gently kiss your cheek and whisper sweet nothings to you. Sometimes it'll be completely silent as he enjoys and soaks himself in your presence. It reminds him that he's safe around you.

He's a very playful person and loves to hug you. He loves spinning you around during the hug and listening to you giggle. Serious hugs are saved for when you or him are sad, playful hugs are the thing every other time. It's when you're least expecting it. Still, he's always the last one to pull away from the hug.
