You Meet the Family: Deigo

"Babe, you look fine." Deigo said as you fixed yourself in the mirror.

You'd been dating for a month and Deigo decided it'd be a great idea for you to meet his family. Naturally you were nervous, and you felt like you'd be out of place because his family was full of superheros.

"I just want to make a good impression." You sheepishly replied.

He kissed your cheek. "They'll love you, don't worry. Come on, mom's making lunch right about now."

He pulled you out of your apartment and to the academy. You'd heard of them before from word on the street, but had never met or known any of them. To you they were just people who could do special things.

Deigo and you got to the academy and he pulled you inside. It was really big and suprisingly quiet.

"Woah..." You breathed out.

"Isn't it huge? My brothers and I used to ride our bikes through the halls while our sisters watched and yelled at us for being stupid." Deigo said, pulling you into the living room.

You looked around and nearly jumped out of your skin when you saw a human ape.

"Master Deigo, I see you've brought a visitor." The ape said.

"Pogo, this is my girlfriend Y/N. Y/N this is Pogo, our monkey butler assistant." Deigo explained.

"Nice to meet you." You smiled.

"And it's a pleasure as well, Miss Y/N. I'll go fetch your siblings, make yourselves comfortable." Pogo replied as he walked off.

Deigo pulled you to the bar and made you a fruity drink. You happily sipped it and made small talk.

"I should probably warn you about my family. Luther's an ass, Allison is chill, Vanya doesn't say much, Five is a sassy shit, and Klaus is....well you'll see." Deigo explained, downing his drink and making another.

"Klaus is what? Fabulous? Cause if so you are correct mi hermano!" A voice called, walking into the living area.

You turned around and saw a guy who was stoned off his ass with a much shorter boy trailing behind him.

"You're anything but. Between you and Ben you share one consecutive brain cell." The younger boy sassed.

"Who's Ben?" You asked, looking at Deigo.

"Died in action. He's our brother. Remember how I said stoner boy can talk to the dead? Well he sees Ben all the time." Deigo explained.

"Oh....I'm sorry." You replied, frowning a little.

"Oh its okay! What's your name? I'm Klaus! It's an honor to meet you, m'lady." Klaus said, hugging you.

You giggled and hugged back. "It's nice to meet you, too. I'm Y/N"

"I love your name! Deigo, darling can you bring her around more often? She's just adorable!" Klaus slurred.

Deigo just sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. He grumbled something under his breath and started to down more drinks. You watched in amusement when someone tapped your shoulder. You turned around and stood a boy who looked no older than 13 and looked to be very mature.

"I'm Five, yes that's my real name. Pleased to meet you, Y/N." The boy said, sticking his hand out.

"Hi Five yes that's my real name. I'm Y/N." You joked, shaking his hand.

He gave a small chuckle and looked at Deigo. "Not bad."

After a couple of hours you had met everyone, except for his father. They were pretty nice, but Luther seemed a little too uptight. You had surprisingly gotten pretty close to Five and Klaus. Deigo had taken you home after dinner and you asked him to stay the night.

"So, what'd you think?" Deigo asked, pulling you closer to him when you two laid down.

"I think that your family isn't as bad as I thought." You replied, laying your head on his chest.

He kissed the top of your head, "Good. Cause I think Klaus isn't gonna leave you alone now."
